  1. Are you talking about the bit on the engine or the bit on the radiator?
  2. you should donate the neo out of your Stag, Tom
  3. Did you see my head toffy?! It's toast!!!
  4. Yeah I found out the problem with the tune, there was some stray wires behind the dash shorting out making it forget things! That was really annoying and had me paranoid the whole time. Stock R33 RB25DET is on the cars. Unless someone has a head, pistons, rings and bearings for sale? Or maybe just a head, I've got a couple of 30 blocks lying around here.... (strokes beard)
  5. Yeah neo is 9.5:1 and s2 rb25det is 9:1. That's sad about your motor damo why'd you do it for? And yes. If i got a new motor I'd have the tune looked at. While all the engines are equal, some are more equal than the others. Plus it was the fuel filter clogging up that cooked it, not the tune.
  6. Agreed.. Stuart, what the f**k are you talking about? And yes, id love a neo too. Just need the cash... Any one want to buy some tyres?
  7. Cooked-ah! Piston from that cylinder looks about the same. Top ring turned it's self into a 3 piece All the bearings are pretty broken, even the cams were a little sore so I reckon it's run out of oil at some stage Or oil surge from before I got my new sump hurt it. Head Gasket blew on pots 1,2,3 and 4. So yeah, pretty good day in the workshop today, learnt lots and had fun. Massive thanks to Martin and Lloyd at Tas Mobile Mechanic for helping me pull the motor down. Not sure what to do now, I'm thinking because I'm only aiming for 300rwkw, I should get a stock motor and just slap my rocker covers, plenum, sump and turbo on it and go rip some skids. Another option is to get a turbo motor that needs a rebuild and get the good fruit from my motor and put it in that and make it all nice again. I'm leaning more towards the first option, mostly because Nissan are a lot better at building motors than me and it'll get me back on the track a lot quicker. The only thing I'd be really worried about is oil control and oil pump, so I'll have to be nice to it and stay off the limiter
