  1. On a 32 GTR, yes. On a 32 GTS-t, no.
  2. If you can get access to a consult cable/software/laptop, it will talk to you.
  3. Freaks you out when your'e hummin' along and suddenly everything stops. Popping the bonnet at the lights isn't much fun either. Goodluck, hope you get it sorted soon. Oh and Welcome to SAU !
  4. Does it only happen when car is warmed up? Sounds alot like when my old Bluebirds CAS was on it's last legs. Cutting out at approx the same place daily on the way to work, ignition cutting out and kicking back in, stalling and not wanting to start for a couple of minutes etc. New CAS, no problems. Could also be AFM related but I'm leaning towards CAS. Search for "Crank Angle Sensor" & see what comes up.
  5. Assumimng you have them, try tightening your Heat shields. ie. turbo shield, exhaust manifold shield & front pipe shield. My front pipe shield was rattling a bit when I was trying to find my noise. Even the plug for the O2 sensor was rattling on it's bracket. All of these are roughly in the direction of your glovebox.
  6. (Dr Nick voice) all this for only twenty nine ninety five !!!
  7. Trouble is, if they stay up for more than 4 hours, you need to seek medical attention.
  8. Hey mate, In Canberra but I can post one at you for $35 if you're keen.
  9. Spotted RS4-S in a huge red & white Plymouth on Saturday.
  10. oooh bugger. I'd be taking that wheel off and pulling the pads out for good looksee me thinks.
  11. By click do you mean rattle? Mine makes the same sound when I wack the exhaust as when I take off slow / reverse out the driveway / cruise through a carpark etc. I would take my cat off but it's welded to the front pipe. Gonna have to take both off.
  12. Just go out and wack your exhaust at the rear, or under the car. keep your keys in your pocket.
  13. NGK BKR6EYA in my 33. $4.50 each. Changing plugs is bonding with your beast. When I bought the car it had in it - Autolite Double Platinum APP3924 plugs which are supposed to last 100,000 miles (160,000kms) The guy I bought the car from reckoned you should change them every 80,000kms. They started missfiring at idle after they had done less than 20,000kms. Changed to NGK coppers, missfire gone, just put in my 2nd set after 10,000kms (no problems, only changed cause they had done 10,000). No worries.
  14. I thought a noise mine has was coming from there, but I then found that my cat converter is rattling. get on the ground and give your exhaust a good wack with your hand. Good chance you'll hear the same sound.
  15. Something to do with LEDs drawing less power, so they flash fast just like when you have a blown bulb. Needs some sort of resistor or something. There is a thread around that speaks of this issue. Praps a good searching session my yield some positive results.
  16. You could do what I did to one of my RC cars, Put stickers / Tape around your tyre tread. It'll sliiiiiiide mmmm mmmmm it'll slide.
  17. I'd like to see these on my Boss's Chrysler 300c SRT8
  18. CAS.
  19. This is cool. Looks the goods. It's good that you are getting all this practise so you can do all of ours much easier.
