  5. Trimmed some of the rubber intake pipe where it had perished through and put a better hose clamp on it and wiped out the throttle body while I was there. Tightened the rocker cover bolts slightly, wiped up a little oily dirt around it and tightened a few clamps around the place. Attached the grill properly cause one of the clips was not sitting properly. Applied a few cable ties here and there in the bay and cleaned the terminal for the Temp Gauge Sensor. Pulled out the Back Seat, I didn't find any treasures but found there was an unopened Beer in with the Spare Wheel and $2.15 in coins under the passengers seat. Found a remote for the stereo but the Stereo isn't working ATM and I need to find a Fuse Box Diagram as the lid is missing. Adjusted the striker plates so the drivers side doors sit flush. SkyHatch Rocks!
  6. Lol... yeah that'll do it. something like this. or an angle grinder tool for changing blades...
  7. Depending on materials / tools available and willingness to have a crack, shouldn't be too hard to make something to fit that. Metal pipe, hacksaw, drill and some kind of handle / leverage springs to mind.
  8. What car and what does the piston look like? I made one for the 31 rears and it worked very well.
  9. Speedy!!! Same brand as the SkyHatch Rims. Abrasives : Cutting compound, Toothpaste or Finer and finer Wet Sanding. Acid: Lemon juice or Vinegar may be worth a try.
  10. LOL! *Mental Note* Rub the interior til she lights up and releases moisture. Got it. Thank you Gentlemen.
  11. Yep this^^^ but who knew? I found one of the Fuseable links in the engine bay was fried and barely connected so I slapped a chunky bit of wire in it and it works! Seems it was actually the main power link too cause the SkyHatch wouldn't even turn over without it. oh and I slapped the dash and now the dash lights work.
  12. Nah Sohc... Holden Engine I believe. (Astra and Camira?) Might try the old "98 octane and advanced timing" trick.
  13. Red = Fav Colour. This is my first red car though. Just took it for a small Fang to get some milk. Really weird driving at night with no dash lights. Fun to drive though and more punch than the Micra.
  14. Yeah it needs a goood polish but the paint is surprisingly not bad at all. Even the pinstripe / stickers are in good nick. Hatch party sounds good. I had a thought of more of us buying hatches and hitting SDMA in a "Team SAU Hillclimb Series" or some such... There's some guys on R31Club who have started there own "Pinny Cup" with limited budget, control tyres etc... Just a thought. and yeah sorry Chris but the wheels I mentioned for your Charade are now in use.
  15. Hi, can I Please get my name changed to "Got a Pulsar"? In the last 2 weeks I have acquired 2 of them. Thanks.
  16. Couldn't resist this for Cheap... as is... washed. wheels off the Micra her new family home. 1990 N13 Pulsar Q, 1.8L, 5 speed manual with Viscous LSD. Has New Battery, Alternator, Distributor, Coil, Leads, Clutch, Brake Pads, Water pump, 3 months Rego. Needs a little love but should be sweet. (dash lights no go, CV joint noise) so far... SkyHatch it is! SOMEONE BUY MY R33 DAMN IT!!!
  17. Spotted a Familiar R32 4door as I was leaving Mitchell. 3:38pm on the SkyWagz Clock. Waves were exchanged.
  18. Do it! Kings aren't the best but they work. Dad got the Forester today, Sad to say goodbye to the Navara. That car (owned for nearly 20 years) has been part of Every House Move I have ever had starting from the age of 19. So Happy for him n Mum to have a Loverly Upgrade though. He stalled it twice leaving the Caryard.
  19. Nice Troy! Enjoy it. Lookout for Roos between Bungendore and Braidwood. and just in General.
