sorry to ask again but i was chasing some advice on this matter still

is the demistor supposed to be able to be on without the air con? because mine will only come on with the ac and the servo motor or whatever moves but it i select it to 32 degrees it doesent move as much as it does when im not in demistor mode and the air coming out wont be cold but it wont be hot and i need it to be hot to get over the pits. any help appreciated cheers
