How bad is it resurrecting a 4 month old thread?? I assume this is similar to GTST models as well - just pop her open and figure out if resistors or solder etc?? Also, PM'd @Samuel Leonard Did you sort this out? And is there any issues with Vacuum display not being under vacuum anymore?

Got a buggy clock myself so looking to get a fix as well. With regards to vents - I had a similar case with centres and didn't want to risk old so bought new for not much more. Ebay is your friend. Similarly, decent dash protector can be bought from ebay as well.

Ah - thought the Morimoto XB35 ballasts were instant on as well? What's burning time to get full output? Does choosing a more powerfully rated Ballast make a difference to setup? They have the option for Morimoto 50W ballasts - but all I can think of is more efficiency rather than anything truly meaningful. Anyone here use the Osram Xenarc CBI (5K or maybe 5.5K) - just white and bright apparently. Scared to try because of brightness and the fact that it does cost a fair bit.

Did you post details on the ballast already? I would be interested - finally going to get the lights sorted (possibly halos). Nice timing with the lesser Aussie dollar which is my loss. Did you also use an E46 shroud of some sort?

^Yep thanks, meant width of rims, my bad. Judging from tyres it sounds like 17x9s. But a rear pic of the centre/hub of the wheel should tell you the width. Cheers.

Check out this awesome thread on the interior fan/blower on passenger side I mentioned: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/227897-fan-blower-unit-in-r32-overhaul/ I wish I had searched here but wanted to fix my problem that day and then so I didn't check.

You could check: - interior fan blower brushes coz they may have worn out (this blower is what drives the air through the vents - underneath dash passenger side - more than likely the culprit as it was for me as determined by the auto eleccy. Maybe when AC is on, tap the blower (usually a black unit above the passenger legs under dash) and see if it suddenly kicks in. - check if front cooling fan in front of radiator is switching on - check relay wiring. Just good to check. Check voltage to front fan switch - check if pipes have a bubble - maybe a leak and low gas pressure?? I am guessing here but good to check anyway. Mind you I have a GTST not GTR so don't know if the same setup or not.
