hello everyone. i have a 1993 r33 gts automatic.
firstly i was wanting to know does this car have a consult plug and secondly if so where would it be located in my car?
thanks
just crack the hose and let it out slowly. its highly unlikely anyone would notice it just makes a small hissing sound. if it starts squirting out liquids just tighten up the nut until it is just gas again. its not really any different to having a leak. im not sure if its harmful to us or not but simply dont stand over the top of it go to the other side of the car and start getting ready to remove the resy. im not 100% sure on this but you might have to remove the radiator to get the condensor out. then block the hoses and tie them them up so they arent flopping around in front of your radiator.
it could be a bad contact in you indicator switch off the steering coloum. had a similar problem in a patrol not long ago. cleaned it up and it hasnt played up yet. im not sure about in the skyline but be careful of springs if you decide to pull it apart as they can go flying and also be quite a difficult job putting it back together.
i am selling it and someone asked if it would work in there series 2 r33. it came out of a series 1 so i didnt know if it did both because of the difference in the ignition systems
hey there guys and girls of sau
i have an apexi power fc sitting at home and i was wanting to know is there a way to tell if its for a series 1 or 2 r33 or does it work in both.
thanks
start the car and using a multimeter check if the alternator is charging. i have come across a number of cars that cause failure to dash and power windows etc. when there is a fault with the alternator. it could be the alternator itself or even a broken wire going to the alternator.
hey everyone.
first up i have a 1993 r33 gts automatic.
i was driving around today and noticed that when the revs got above 4000 rpm there was a large hissing noise similar to the sound of a turbo spooling up although the car is an NA. the car was also much quiter than usual. the next thing i noticed was when i was traveling up a hill it lack power. the engine was reving a 5000 rpm maybe more but i was loosing speed. my foot was flat to the floor at this time... i travel this road often and never had this problem before. then about 10 km down the road after slowing down to around 80km/h after getting stuck behind a caravan i had a chance to overtake. i put my foot down and the car reved to 6500 then dropped off to about 4000 before very slowly increasing speed.
any sugestions would be great
you can buy led load resisters. you just join one end into the indicator wire and the other end to earth. you will need one for each indicator with an led. you should.be able to get them from super cheap or just about any automotive store
this one is unregistered as it hasnt been going for some time now and will have to be check over by vic roads. but my thoughts too is to hope i get someone that has no idea what they are looking at.
did you have to change engine mounts. how about the gearbox?
the series 1 coil pasks use an ignitor module located at the rear of the engine. the series 2 coil packs have this built into them and are triggered by the computer
hey guys and girls.
i am looking into putting a RB25DET into my mr30 hatch. first i was wondering has anyone else done this modification and if so were there any troubles you encounted along the way and secondly did you have any trouble registering the car? was an engineers certificate required or did it go straight through. i am from victoria also.
thansk
hey guys. i was wanting to know what you thought an r33 gtst that has been hit in the drivers side would be worth. the car is a write off and would be only good for parts. the engine is still in going condition although it has been flogged and lacks alot of power compared to other stock r33 gtst's. the rear of the car is still good. the front bumper is broken. the drivers seat and fuse box area is all broken up but the rest of the car looks to be in reasonable condition.
just wanting to know what you think this would be worth to buy for ugrades and spares as i have a r33 gts. wont be fitting engine just things like brakes and stuff.
thanks
fitted it the other day. like mastadd said if you take note of the old one just put it in the same way. can only put it in the right way or 180 degrees out.
although i dont have spark so that will be my next issue to tackel. hopefully get to that this weekend.
thanks for the help guys
