Twin atr28ss2 will be easy 400-450kw or more My brother road tuned his s13 with s15 VCt motor a few weeks ago with the atr28ss2 Dyno day yesterday at Unigroup so decided to see what it made 226kw @20psi by 3600rpm only Reving to 5000rpm as he had pinging issues so they didn't rev past 5000rpm looks promising response is very good but he decided to just switch over to e85 jungle juice as it will need a retune and to sort out the issue Should be done it 2-3weeks but I'll get the current dyno sheet up tomorrow

It does sound like you have reversion issues and the best fix is a plumback bov as far away from the afm the better and closer to the turbo so it doesn't interfere with the afm signal Also have you read on here of using a r35 gtr afm which idles better and doesn't get affected by reversion as much Nistune has made a map for it but not sure how it will go with the power fc Have a search it's on the nistune forums aswell

My brother got his s13 road tuned today with atr28ss2 and s15 VCt motor only on 20psi due to running pump 98 Goes good but definately doesn't feel as fast as my 180sx but power feels very linear and comes on instantly Not like mine as it hit 3500-4000rpm there's a big surge in power and throws you back or tyres fry We will soon see the difference as were going to the drags soon

Must be just united as my nismo 740cc have been on caltex eflex for 3+years and haven't failed and they are the same design as the std side feeds

Check fuel pressure as the injectors are opening at 100%duty but the fuels not getting to the cylinders as it's needing that much duty cycle/opening time for enough fuel to make 130kw Or it's leaking at the manifold Who is you tuner?

Stao has told me that the mitsubishi housings won't work with garret turbos As he has tested it something with the angle of the exhaust gas aiming at the turbine so the kando housing won't work with the gtx3067 -
I think Tao has hit the head on nail for sr20 t2 low mount turbo After numerous testing and even my testing back to back same car and mods Against the Atr28g2 .64 Atr28ss1.5 .64 Atr28ss1.5 .86 More test driving it with another set of coils and another set of iridium plugs gapped to .6mm seems to have fixed the miss on high boost for now but just blazes the tyres in 2nd Going to need semis slicks for the drags

Nah man you can't have the best of both with a larger turbo but it's the best it can be Alil lag for alot of gain is worth it

I said best power and response So yes it comes on alil later 200rpm This 3800rpm but 25psi the pe1420 3600rpm 20psi 220kw pe1420 280kw atr28ss2 Extra 60kw I know what i would rather The Pe1420 runs out of puff up top yes it spools up quick but only ran a 13.0 with this turbo and did a 13.2 with the t28 both similar mph 110

Yeah some dynos read different But at the track the trap speed doesn't lie and seat of pants This turbo atr28ss2 is certainly the best I have had so far response and top end power I have tried plenty from T28 Gt2860rs Gt2871r 48t Gt2871r 56t Pe1420 Td05h18g T518z Gt3071r t2 Hksgt2530 Atr28g2 Atr28ss1.5 This has all been tested on my 180sx and my brothers old 180sx most on my car over the 5years All lowmount t2 and even comparing to big name jap brands and yet the best so far has been the hypergear atr28ss2

Nah didn't get time to compare as took all day to tune Coils kept breaking down on high boost and was running rich at start maybe due to fuel pump upgrade or injector clean but I'm very happy how it drives Once I get the spark fixed I will heading to the drags to test it Hoping for 11s and 125mph

Made 280rwkw very happy with the result 25psi by 3800rpm no boost taper Now I need to sort out my spark/coils as I had abit of breakdown on 25psi once heat soaked Drives way better than before

Finish off my head install and turbo the atr28ss2 comes on fullboost about 4000rpm but has that large gtx turbo howl and mad slow vl echo dose Book in for a tune this Thursday My brothers s13 drives a lot nicer down low and more responsive maybe due to s15 motor and VCt but top end power is amazing

Well I'm putting a new fuel filter in and will cut open the old one and take pics and of the old pump if there's is any black gunk Keep you's updated

It might have been the reason why my car was running out of injectors earlier than expected when tuned As it was tuned to 12afr but kept creeping to 12.5 afr up top Tuner thought it was the pump not keeping up as the fuel pressure bled off up top 6psi but boost was dropping off 3-4psi aswell so 2-3psi fuel pressure drop ain't much I have a dw300 fuel pump in there previously with my nismo 740cc injectors on 4bar See how it goes now with walbro 450lph once tuned maybe next week

Well e85 has been in the states way before us so they have more experiences than we do And it is formed from a additive in the e85 mix that's supposed to clean but leaves this black goo it's pip in short or something in the Naisoc link I posted I only noticed the black gunk as I was doing my headgasket Car was running fine prior still netted me a 12.3 @ 122mph a month ago and was retuned 2months ago making 266rwkw on 12.5afr and only started to get worse as headgasket leak got worse Also noticed the same gunk after just taking out my mates injectors from his evo but Weren't as bad either but only 1 year use
