    Why did they test it at gm Saab and stated a tank of unleaded clears it up as it dissolves it ? Or there's this new additive the lucas stuff kill off the chemical that makes this black gunk I'm going give the lucas stuff a shot and add it to my fuel every month and see how it goes as I just bought 473ml bottle which 155ml bottle treats 90 odd litres so I only need 80ml a tank so it should last a while

    Scotty nm35 As i posted before it only occurs at the injectors tips and intake valves as the chemical evaporates but not in the lines or before the injectors when it's a liquid

    Let us know how they look stao when you pull the injectors out My mates evo8 had started to get this gum after maybe 1 year on e85 just pulled his injectors out then but not as bad as mine

    Yeah worth the check but even injector cleaner isn't the best solution Running a tank of normal unleaded dissolves this gunk and mainly affects city driven cars stop and go But if you mainly do highway kms not as bad Might just add 10-15l pump 98 to a tank of e85 at each oil change might run very rich but dissolve this goo

    Fuel filters aren't the problem Only get build up of this black gum like substance as it burns and only deposits on the injector tips Rest of the fuel system will be fine I'll find the link

    Yeah just read up on that if running e85 constantly injector tips tend to gum up and even gm commodore flex cars in the states got told to run a tank of pump 98 clears up the gum I'm on single nistune map so e85 constantly but am going to just run a e85 fuels system cleaner now on with every oil change

    Got the head off today Blown gasket around cylinder 1 and leaky intake stem seal Also look at the injectors seem to be clogged with black gum been on e85 for 3years daily Going to get them serviced tomorrow and see if I can book a tune for next week Hopefully get the head back on tomorrow and new turbo installed and then make up new cooler piping

    Hi got a few parts for sale selling due to upgrade for more power Orc 409d single plate clutch suit s13/14 180sx sr20det rated to 400hp at the flywheel Sprung centre version Bought used has 4mm clutch meat new 5mm so still abit of life left Comes with flywheel and bolts aswell Taark also can get the release bearing and carrier new for $115 I got the part numbers $390 Ono Used Dw300 e85 fuel pump had for 2-3 years still running fine on eflex $70 180sx sr20det std airbox modded for z32afm to bolt on $100 Ono Apexi panel filter not even 5000km old $50 K&n panel filter used but still good condition comes with recharge kit Filters will suit s13-14-15 std air boxes $50 Located syd west but happy to post at your cost Pm me H

Gtscott Got a atr28ss2 in my brothers s13 s15 motor and also installing one in my 180sx now Currently driving my bros s13 around until I get mine sorted as I'm doing the headgasket aswell Oil was pooled around the valves worn stem seals I'll get pics tomorrow Driving his s13 around with the atr28ss2 on gate pressure 15-16psi untuned yet bakes all 2nd gear Power just keeps climbing after 4000rpm till limiter Can't wait too get them both tuned and running 20 odd psi My ones going to be on e85 but his will be on pump 98 and road tuned so won't have a dyno printout for the s13 but going to race them both at wsid after

    Yea they do work under wot but cruise and light throttle and idle all will be bad aswell as fuel economy Bad enough it drinks more e85 than pump98 This will make it worse

    Like I've been told previously by Unigroup on s14/s15 sr20det engines the highflows have a chance of working as it hits the head ports and sort of atomizes the fuel where as on a s13 sr20det it's aimed right at the intake valves and spray like a garden hose on jet mode May be similar on a rb25 depending on where the injectors aim

    Thanks stao Drove my brothers s13 with the atr28ss2 on actuator pressure 15-16 psi and goes good but he has a s15 motor and VCt still not tuned yet soon Might get mine tuned before him Start to strip the head tomorrow

    Also seems like he got a free turbo claimed under kando warranty and sold you the damaged one good business He claims to have post the pump but who knows I haven't received it yet

    Yeah cause I'm sick of your lies buddy Hypergear just posted me a turbo yesterday from Vic and it's already arrived The $90 would be worth it if you get shut down and don't get the chance to rip off any sau members
