I have a mate who had a 33 with 320rwkw on race fuel with stock internals (although tomei cams) as his daily. It ran reliably for 3 years or so until he sold it. It had done a few runs down the strip before he bought it, but otherwise he babied it. To be honest, if he had been hammering it on tracks etc i think it wouldnt have lasted. Needless to say, the thing was scary fast for the street

I had an old vr commodore when I got my p's and ran it up to 390km and after doing the engine, box and suspension it drove like new. If I had slapped a low k dash in you wouldn't tell the difference!

Haha- reminds me of a time an ss highway patrol came flogging past us overtaking a row of 4-5 cars, (2 lane road) easily doing double the speed limit (60 zone) with lights blazing. Me and my mate were joking about him chasing some hottie down and chatting her up, when 2 minutes up the road there he is, with some moist looking p-plater blondie in a hyundai coupe! Im sure there was a good reason for him risking everyones lives on the road though..

As far as im aware, i think its purely that the z32 is capable of running more hp. Im not sure of the actual figures (they are around here somewhere) but the standard airflow meters on the r33's are apparently only good for 200 odd rwkw, where as the z32 is something like 300rwkw. Im sure someone will give you real figures. Also note that from what i have heard there is no reason to upgrade until you need to, (making significantly more hp) And after you do upgrade your ecu will need to be tuned.

my friend reckons he took his mums excel to 220 or something on a freeway.. they take a fair beating. I took mine to 180 when I was 17. Totally not worth it. haha- definitely not! The thing rattled and shook so much we took up two lanes.. My dick attempts in my commodore only got me 200- but at least it was smooth lol

I would definitely buy yourself a cheap pod and run it without a box just to try it. My car came with a shitty supercheap brand pod and runs the stock rubber intake piping and the stock bov is plenty loud. Imo it was a little too loud, (being people always looking around etc when i drove past)

Havent heard about this one yet- our roads are f**king terrible. Mates of mine lost a close friend last week on the central coast though, saw his tribute page and the kid was like 18 or 19- it always makes my heart hurt to think of the loved ones. Then my mate drove past another accident today on the same stretch of highway, and he thought it was probably fatal. All i can think of is the wives/kids/husbands etc that never have their loved one come back home, terrible stuff.

Not that im proud to have been apart of it, and it was f**king scary, my mate had his excel 195. We were however typical 17 year old douchbags. lol It also took forever and had a downhill run- but still not bad.
