I can agree with you there dohmar. My silver paint helps but when your car and driving style doesn't scream 'street racer' you don't have much to worry about. I've never been pulled over in a year of GTR ownership and daily driving.

Import_zone on hardtuned wrote in their spotted thread that he had seen a purple 32 yesterday in the hills and has spoken to police. He/she wanted someone on sau to pass on the message. Hope the car is recovered mate!

It's apparently impossible to tune it out. Some people (like myself) experience an occasional light hiccup under mild throttle input - mostly near boost threshold; worse cases are at high rpm only. Max boost - high rpm - misfire... No thanks

The ecu that is known to sometimes have the 'misfire' glitch is the version 8.04. Your hand controller will say what version you have on the first screen when you turn on your ignition.

Who's got the hookup for powder coating?

My 32 does the same thing except the lights stay illuminated and I have to shut off the engine and start it again. It is imperative that you are aware that while the lights are illuminated you have no abs and your 33 is running in RWD. I had an interesting moment in the wet but luckily I caught the rear end. Some people would say g sensor is knackered, I haven't delved too deeply into fixing my problem as it is quite intermittent but it could be something as simple as your battery. There are a few threads regarding this subject on here, albeit when I fix mine I'll let you know what I did and hopefully we both don't have to spend 2 grand on a g sensor. In the meantime, take your car to your trusted mechanic and have them run a diagnostics check on your hicas. Hope this helps

I have personally run out into the middle of the street at 1am in my jocks brandishing a pool cue and half a mongrel when I thought my missus' camry was being stolen.

The number of stolen imports this week is really alarming to me. Im sure I speak for alot of people when I say the authorities need to step up their efforts to catch these people. We are relying on word of mouth to stay updated on the stolen cars, and if these people are caught by the police, we take one more step towards eliminating this problem. Although if the people are caught by the people whose property they have blatantly stolen and abused, the repercussions would be alot worse than grand theft auto charges. If the authorities are reading this post, please take this seriously and do something about it. It seems there is an organized regime of the same people targeting imports and driving the cars around to go steal other ones. Something like a bait could be simple enough to catch these people. The reckless manner that these cars would be getting driven in should be enough of a sign to police to act on the matter.

Saw a silver 33 v spec parked at findon shopping centre, thought it was you pete till I saw the normal plates. Also another 33 on tapleys hill road, both had a geeze as we drove past.
