R32 Gtr & Gts-T Parts For Sale......!
Matty Sherlock replied to trez's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Very keen on inner window mouldings if from a 2door and don't have the inevitable damage in top corners -
Stop playing jokes you guys... But seriously it's usually an engine out job
-
Probably the reason why he has different colour panels. People must have thought he was so cool though.. Spotted a black 34 earlier tonight in the backstreets near Welland. Thought it was a skyline then wasnt sure but steering was a better idea than waving. Damn skinny streets. 34 had a tough stance from the front though looked very low actually.

Thoughts On This R32 Gtr
Matty Sherlock replied to Ezy03's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
As stated before, the car is 23 years old and you can safely assume that anything that hasn't been replaced will need to be sooner or later. If you knew the full history on any 32R you would be scared away from buying, In my opinion, the 20k+ examples with minimal bolt on mods are the way to go. Is it the pricetag alone that attracts you to the car? Any import purchase should be dealt with extensive research. The forged rebuild is handy, but I would be interested as to why.. To be honest I would keep looking but a visual inspection/test drive won't hurt. Also if you have your heart set on it and the seller isn't interested or helpful in supplying any information/pics/history or anything you request, they probably don't care about the car enough to maintain it the way they should.. Anyway, all the best on your car hunt mate, hope you're happy with your final decision. P.S A majority of the SAU Community (including myself) have access to Nissan FAST software.. a handy tool -
Friend Claims My R33 Is A Boat :/
Matty Sherlock replied to S3RK's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
My question to you S3RK is: Do you enjoy your car for what it is? If so don't be too concerned about your 'mate' who is hanging shit on it, and just keep enjoying it R33 is my least favourite skyline but I still appreciate them for a number reasons. Plus if your mate wants to put his money where his mouth is.. Tell him to find an R33 skyline that floats.. -
I had my digi in the car the whole time! Forgot about it though. If we do it again vu i'll bring a friend of mine who is a professional photographer

Black 34 with deleted wing pulling out on grange rd. Shared waves and grins and i believe the dude said "yeah n*gga" in approval. 34 looked good man
-
If it all falls through i'll be happy to partake in this sort of thing again. Last weekend was good fun

Glad to hear you got your car back mate. Even if it is a bit bruised..

Pretty sure I saw Blazk coming down my street this arvo. The only red 34 getting around these parts anyway. If it was you Tobias, you should have pulled up, I spent a few hours detailing could have used a hand

That's not creepy at all pete...

Yeah, and a crossbow.

My car is serviced at sinergy motorsport, and they always check/re-align my wheels for a very good price. Although any during any wheel/tyre fitting, I will be taking advantage of club discount at blackwood tyrepower (who have a good repuation nonetheless)

Well one positive is the uncommon factor of the paint. I live in flinders park but I have not seen this car around; I will now be looking for it. The theft of these cars seems to be predominant in the western suburbs but the increasing amount of cars stolen highlights the need to do everything we can to stop it from happening to us. Thats why I have alarm, imobilliser, club-lock, full comprehensive insurance, car behind roller gate and roller door, rev limit set to 1500rpm, keys and documentation in well hidden area, automatic light, recording camera linked to television, car in view from bedroom window and two dogs. If theives can get past all of these, I will shoot them with my crossbow, then ring 000. I recommend all people who love their rides to follow all these precautions, except for the crossbow! That is just something I am prepared/trained to do if someone comes into my yard and wants my car more than I do.. Hope you get your 33 back the way you left it mate

that solves that mystery then.. did the late build 32 gtrs have full 33 running gear or just motor and box?
-
Not sure if a 32 hicas lock bar will fit a 33, but I have one for sale, with the bypass hose kit to go with. No reason why it wouldnt fit your 33 mikey if your interested. $100

I've seen the same 35 a few times in the area. Always going the other way though!

These forums are the best place to look mate, a quick search came up with this thread : http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/203706-what-is-the-most-awesome-r33-gtr-bodykit/ Also don't look past the SAU Trader section, have a look at the threads for places like Just Jap, Kudos Motorsport and of course our club sponsors. In regards to tuning, there's mixed reports from some highly reputable shops like HPinabox (South), Boostworx (North) but there's no denying they know their s**t. Alot of people including myself have their cars tuned at Willall Racing, and SAU:SA has a good relationship with them. I believe they offer a generous price for Nistune, which is a good cheap way to unlock a bit of your cars potential and keep the constabulary relatively happy. In terms of used parts for sale, a fellow member by the username of ON EDGE might lead you in the right direction, and also lives in the same general area as you and I. Send him a PM. My only other advice/ moreso a request... Please don't put a superman symbol on your car haha. Not my forte anyway..

I never said I was the greatest racer alive. If I was I wouldnt need brake upgrades etc.
