  1. Hi guys

    Looking for a r33 intercooler pipe set. Mine has holes in it. The alloy is too crap to fix so i want to get a new set of pipes. Anyone got any for sale in good cond? Or should i just buy new? (im an apprentice so money is a bit tight) maybe even if someone can recommend a place to make them for me?

    I have a boost leak on my r33 but don't know how to find it.. Was wondering if any of you gurus in adelaide could help me with this? Or at least recommend a place to take it that won't cost a fortune.

    Sadly some a**hole stole my R33 and took it for a whirl and helped themself to some items. Also sadly unsurance are being dogs and wont pay out on a technicality. SOOO i need some help im after the following:

    R33 series 1 Front bar (can be any type prefer white if possible... also i have a front mount if they will affect anything) hell ill even make a series 2 fit lol

    New airbag (was stolen)

    new ignition barrel

    Boot carpet (they pulled out the custome interior i had..) also need the panel that covers the battery area as well.

    spare tyre/jack if theres one floating around.

    any help would be HEAPS appreciated. im based in Klemzig area as well

  4. 1. yes its rough under 2k revs.. once the turbo kicks it goes but not as good as it should...

    2. its a series 1

    so far mods are simple.. only pod filter and front mount. ... plus earthed the solanoid wire so it runs 7psi all the time.

    ill test AFM tonight and let you guys know.

  5. Hi guys n gals!

    looking for some wisdom and what to try next....

    My r33 gtst is running rough.... struggles to start without a few pumps of the gas peddle. when it does starts its got a pretty smooth idle.. however when i drive its got NO power... almost seems like ive lost a cylinder.. sounds rough as guts!

    so far i have.....

    changed new spark plugs, new fuel filter, checked fuel pump, changed coil packs, cleaned out aac valve.

    it seems to be something in the fuel line maybe? any suggestions or pearls of wisdom out there?

    ps. when i did change the spark plugs it ran near perfect for a single spin round the block.. then went back to driving crap. (if that helps)

  6. Perhaps i should clarify i bit more...

    i have a gauge in the car.. its reads BAR not PSI (came with car) ... when i have MY manual boost controller connected i have adjusted up to 0.7 bar (10psi according to the calculator) thats running it in 3rd/4th gear highest revs.

    When i disconnect my manual controller and connect the FACTORY controller my gauge hits 1.5 BAR (20+ psi) in 3rd gear at about 4000+ .

    I want to run my manual controller over factory but should i be worried about the factory one running so high?

  7. Hi guys

    I recently bought my first turbo R33 so far im loving it but i have a few concerns and hoping someone can help this newb!

    when i first got it i noticed the stock controller wasnt even connected... after connecting it it seems to be running about 20psi. Any ideas on how i can reduce this? or why it may be running so high?

    I bought a manual Boost controller and fitted it instead running only about 9 at present but of course im getting a severe flat spot. ive been told an ECU reset can help fix this? Im planning on getting a proper dyno done on it after xmas but any suggestions i can try before then?
