My mate just bought a Yamaha r1 02 model , the engine number was abit damaged ( last few number where all rusted etc. ) he has the full engine number for the seller and vic roads cert etc etc. he wants to know where he can get his bike restamped for cheap. the km's are low for 70K - 80K + .. the average cheap gtr has around 100-125K .. but sometimes you get luky and get it cheaper ! .. just get a friend in japan to look around . give him the money , tell him to say the car is HIS not yours when he buys it . then he can say to the importing people that he sold the car to you for 200,000 yen as you did a favour to him aswell as the money you owe him.
