  1. Who's going? Test & Tune HFM Toowoomba. It's only for sound not power but they say there will be show cars and you can have a great laugh at all the shitboxes that pull up with more expensive stereo systems than cars. When: 30th June 9am - 2pm Where: 17 Cowen Street Toowoomba
  2. What's your problem tommie? Did I say where I would be doing said drifting? I'm 28 years old and know that you would have to be retarted to speed through public streets. I'm new to Toowoomba and would like to make some friends on here, hopefully maybe yourself as well. But I would ask you would think twice before talking to me like that again, unless I do go and say some stupid shit! Ask adult/sensible question man and I'm sure we will get along.
  3. Ooh, and PPS seeing as I will be getting new rear tires, who's up for a bit of sideways action?
  4. Ohh and by the way I think a hard spot half day met up is a must. To organise a run down through the great divide into the hinterlands would be a perfect day/night drive
  5. Hey guys I have worn out one of my rear tires. I'm going to replace both but the Bridgestone I went to wanted to charge me $620 a tire. I'm looking on eBay and I can get a set of Kumho's for $399 plus deliver and such. Just wondering what you guys do. My rear tire size is 265/35 18 97YXL
  6. Hey guy's, my name is Michael. I've just moved back to Toowoomba. Once a week I go and wash my car at carlovers. Also I just moved from living at the bottom of Mt Tamborine. I used to love going for a drive up the mountain and down through the hinterlands with other cars. If you guys can show me a good run, something similar, I'd be much alibied. Hope to see you guys on the road. My car is easy to spot. Number plate is B FUN.
  7. boss kit's will tell you what brand of wheel they support. go to justjap.com they have one that does im sure

    Track Days!

Hey Guy's i'm Michael. I got a novice question for ya's. I've recently got my car up to what i think would be good for beginner track runs (time attacks). I just have no idea where to start, where there is a track open to beginners more than once a year. Could someone who hopefully lives on the south side of brisbane and also run's a few tracks and wouldn't mind showing me the ropes PM me. Thank you. P.S. Im not a complete nob on the track as i have raced go-karts for the last 4 years, so i know my lines and cornering rules.
  9. Hey guy's I've got an R34 GTT and have been looking at gauges to replace the three gauge set. I have read the forums and know that the 52mm fit well behind the glass and the 60mm sit flush on the front. I know from what i've read allot of you don't like the 60mm look but anyways it floats my boat. So my question is will these Blitz Racing Meter DC II Still fit flush in the gauge placement? They are 60mm but with the front styled lights i'm not sure. Has any done this? Has anyone tried? Any input is welcome http://www.blitzpowerusa.com/products/rmdc/rmdc.html
  10. Hey Dan, i hear your the guy to talk to for LED kits. Im looking at making my dash and gauge cluster BLUE. I own an R34 GTT. I was wondering if you had knowledge on making an Apexi Power FC controller a different colour then green?

  11. Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I grew up on Apexi, however in the last 5 or so years they seem more shaky than michael fox. Their in business, their not, they got brought out, they are out of business, they came back into business with a new name, now i don't know what they are anymore. I certainly can't find anyone that stocks them anymore. Anywho to my point, im stuck on which ECU to go. I've got it down to the Haltec or the Greedy E manage. What do you guys have? What do you think? and What have you read? If however you know where i can get my hands on a PowerFC that would be so choice. PS: Im sure this has been done to death, but this site needs its own Electronics\Modification forum to make these sorts of questions a bit easier to access. I own a Skyline R34 GT-T Neo
  12. Hey SogeCEO, I recently change from the snorkel to an apexi twin air pod and i get the same noise (like a man whistling but he has a few teeth missing) Im hoping its just dirt in my turbo which is getting serviced on the 20th of this month. If you still have your problem then i will let you know what nissan says
  13. Thanks Owens, thats a good idea on the o2 sensors. I really wasn't sure what milage i would get from a GT-T, if that's all your getting JRM maybe with a bit of maintenance i can get her up closer to the 400k mark. Stupid question; Do intercoolers really improve fuel economy ? I understand the argument that cold air is denser than warm but the space is the same.
  14. Personally I try not to blink to much because it seems flashy, but when I do I enjoy it!

  15. Hey guys, I'm new to the R34 world. I drove a GtiR up until i put to much work in her and she become silly for everyday driving. Anyway I've had my 34 for about 6mths now and i only seem to get about 320ks to a tank. Is this standard ? I'll post details below. Anything you think could help my thirsty beast would really help! Petrol: Shell Optimax or any 98ron 80,000 Service 3mths ago Mods: 3" exhaust from the turbo back Apexi twin air filter intake Boost set to 12 PS: I thought i have been driving her very respectably. I blow her nose every now and then for good health but that's all. Thanks Guys
