  1. Thanks for the tip. I will get you the specs over next weekend..
  2. They are not really coilovers, just struts. but I am told they they have height adjustments. Just struts. I might have to visit the local pedders. I'll get pics when I pull them out of the car. thanks for your suggestions. Anyone know what the springs rates are for the standard springs in a R33 Gtst thanks
  3. Hi all, I have done some research and it seems I might have Apexi T-max Shocks with possibly factory springs. Does anymone know what the spring rates are for factory springs or have any experience with T-max shocks. thanks
  4. Hi all, I got myself a R33 S2 GTST recently. The ride height is perfect for me. What I don't like is the stiffness of the ride on Sydney Streets. I had a quick look underneath. I am not sure if they are coilovers or not. How can I tell ? The brand is Apexi. They are blue in colour. Part numbers are below. I could not find them on the net ? Is their an Apexi Distributor/Dealer in Sydney Rear Shocks Apexi 237-N005-R (GL23) Rear Springs M3X01874 Front Shocks Apexi 237-N005-F What kind of springs are they? The shocks have an adjustment setting at the bottom. I have put them to the softest setting. Haven't had a chance to take it out for a spin yet. Front's were already the softest setting. I am not sure of the condition of the shocks. Car has 59xxx kms on it. If the setting does not help, can I just change the springs to a softer one, provided the shocks are in good order. How can I get them tested ? Do i have to remove the shocks/springs form the vehicle. If they are stuffed are these rebuidable. I am trying to keep the cost to a minium. thanks heaps

  6. Hi all, Just got my hands on a R33. Looking out for an alarm + immobiliser for insurance and peace of mind. Have read through fourms and spoke to couple of guys. Narrowed it down to three. Need suggestions, because everyone I spoke to has differing opinions on which is best. I am trying to get a feel for quality and features and feedback from users. I am in Sydney. Mongoose M80G Autowatch 446 Anti-theft A2000K I am planning to have shock, ultrasonics and possibly tilt sensors + piezeo. Don’t think I’ll need glass breakage if I have above. I have a Greddy Turbo Timer which I might rip out anyway and am not too fussed if I end up having one at all. The Autowatch and A2000K have them built in anyway. The A2000K seems to be the most feature rich but am I am leaning toward it but am not sure of the quality. I have never heard of it before but I am told its is being used by Quicktrack. Any opinions will be greatly appreciated. Want to get it in quickly before car gets stolen.
