  1. yeah, just be careful with the brake pads. I "think" from memory, the compliance workshop has to deem there is 50% or more left on the pads, if not, you need new pads. Not much of an issue for a GT-T, but very $$$$$ if it's a GTR. But i'm sure any import broker who knows what's happening will be aware of that
  2. still says 4 hours, 2 mins for me? frick! so close!!
  3. did you get any insight on price when you ordered?
  4. even the paddle shift in my dad's 335i coupe is outstanding. Just superb.
  5. some more piccies ^ that's why the front tyres are coming off and the Potenza's going on. These are being thrown in for FREE (not roadworthy)
  6. i have a set of Advan Model 5's, original Japanese design if you're interested see sig
  7. got some quality Jap rims if you're interested see sig cheers, daniel
  8. fixed the Yokohama link, just realised it wasn't working. It nows goes to the official page for these rims cheers
  9. ontop of that mate, the suburb where it was stolen (Brighton) battles it out with Toorak as the richest suburb in Melbourne
  10. i think it might be a Series 2 standard item..... i think
  11. hehhe, i looked into the exact same thing over at the gtr.co.uk forums. Yep, they make 18" copies of the LM-GT4, about the only ones i know of besides Bee-R, but i'd say Bee-R B5's are a product all of their own. I did come across some pics of Rota rims cracking at the track (at the gtr.co.uk forums) but didn't see any problems with the 'GTR' rims (i think that's the what the GT4 copies are called) Prob cost a crap load to get them out here mate. I recommend you stick with some Jap rims, get something forged
  12. what a tosser!! why flip the bird if someone is waving at you from another GTR?????? makes no sense... worth calling the local police there to keep a lookout?
  13. happy birthday boys!! someone must have been hitting the belgium beer garden today!
  14. trunk monkey
  15. quik trak has been around for quite a few years now. there are limitations with some systems in that they'll use the GSM network (mobile) to track the car. But that means they can lose the cars signal, just like you would sometimes lose a mobile signal. Then there are the GPS systems, which again, have some limitations. So the best, if there are any, haven't really looked into is, is to get one that possibly offers both types of coverage. Fairly price, i think about $1000-$1500 install and first year monitoring, and then you have to pay each year for monitoring. Great peace of mind though. The control centre can do things like remotely lock the car, kill the engine, etc...
  16. i've hit my windows with polish/pads that i've used on my paintwork. (Menzerna polishes, and Edge Pads) got any polish products around? not a good side on, but saw this over at ns.com (search for some matte/satin black threads here or at ns.com, there is definitely a side on of a 32 with the kai's) i think these are kai's
  17. what plates you thinking of getting?
  18. i don't believe so.... i'm not 100% sure. I have a feeling the series 2 had an immobiliser as standard??
  19. mate, it's time to let it go. They're not going to be $250k like you thought, they are not going to be $200k like you thought, and they are definitely not going to be $180k like you think. PERHAPS, the TOP track spec version, with ceramic brakes, CF roof/bonnet/cup holders will be pushing $180k (ie, COMPLETELY optioned out ONTOP of the top version) but your run of the mill GTR is looking to be $120K-$140K
  20. been asked about some more pics. These show tread left and the marks on the rims... The pics of the tyres themselves are of the Potenza RE030's that are going to go on the fronts. The other tyre pics are the rear 255/40 Neovas PRICE DROP: $1350
  21. that's what i was thinking mate. For it to be stolen, in that area, whilst you were staying with a mate... and going to the lengths of a flat bed truck.... it seemed like there was a lot more to it than just a random find. good luck!
  22. ahh right, thought i've seen you post in the vic section a bit, prob just put two-and-two together
  23. aren't you in vic? i'm not really in a rush to sell it. I had a look and they're $100 RRP, so i'll drop it to $90. $60 posted is a bit cheap, sorry cheers, daniel
