Latest Information On Nissan Gt-r - Pics + Video

yes, it would be... if it was a skyline . But it will be one hell of a GTR none-the-less -
What Is Stock Gtt R34 Kw At Rear Wheel?
SS8_Gohan replied to R33Turbo's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
aaaahh dodgy coilpacks, all too common problem with the 34's unfortunately. mine went, i got splitfires now. Not too major a problem and easily fixed. Have you tried the DIY solutions for it? -
add 101yen exchange rate, that makes a 997 Turbo ~$180k AUD. They retail for $330K+ so how you extrapolate that to a GTR price is anyones guess, because going by that, you roughly double the price (53% or multiple the yen price by about 1.47 to get a rough Oz showroom price) . Making an Oz delivered GTR $115K from the Porsche calculations But Porsche make money off their cars, i don't know if Nissan would be hunting for a net profit on just 1 unit sale (before servicing, parts, etc)? i like that price

What Is Stock Gtt R34 Kw At Rear Wheel?
SS8_Gohan replied to R33Turbo's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
187rwkw WITH power fc? bit low isn't it? anyways, it's pretty easy to work out. Take an average of 150rwkw for a GTT, that's a 28% drive train loss from the fly-wheel. My aim is 300kw at the fly, giving me about a 215rwkw target, give or take. So just do ~30% drive train loss. This does vary from car to car -

fiddly bits.... sounds like there are nuts or something involved, i vote a GT-C of some colour description, and then getting painted black, and as pete said, being careful of the polished bits, ie, lip/rim bit. my 2 south african rand

yeah, i did reiterate somewhere that not all are V-Specs, and to be mindful when looking at the ads. Nice pick up Alicia! You can see i even went to the trouble of adding the extra little note to that listing Great price too
-
$120k+ if we're lucky it will be low $100k's, but unlikely could have to wait to the end of '08

sooooo many hot 34's!!! i've seen prestige and j-spec have a few of these guys cars on their mailing lists. You can tell by that same low rock wall in the background mind if i ask how much? So did you have to organise all the shipping, importing, etc, yourself?? yeah, choyda's right, i noticed some aren't actually V-Spec's. The grey one in Moorabbin, VIC is a NON v-spec, but listed as V-Spec II, so be mindful of that...

a lot more than i thought would be available, and this is only carsales.com.au - i can't remember the other car sites. I thought the prices were quite interesting, generally a lot cheaper than i thought the would be, which doesn't bother me as i'd be looking to upgrade in a few years so there's quite a choice locally. But import if you're after something specific

choyda, if that is your car in your sig, HOOOOOOOOOOOT!!! what rims are those? bbs? at least living in brisbane is a plus as that's where the majority of the ships first land after coming from Japan yeah, as others have said, don't pay too much attention to the odo. Look for things that can't be faked that easily, so wear on the side bolster of the drivers seat. Wear on the gearknob, wear on the steering wheel. These things are going to be a truer indication of usage than an odo. It's a rough guide, but can be more helpful than an odo reading. http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/NISSA...amp;D=R34%20GTR there's actually a lot of R34 GTR's on sale already in Oz, some good prices too. $50k - $75k (and of course higher as well)

^ dude, why the change? and when did you get rid of the R34? i saw your username, then saw the car you have listed, and i was like hang on, i was sure sewid had a R34 i'd have to agree, the GTR's do look a bit weird without the lower lip and spoiler

low 11's / 100km. R34 GT-T, manual. full 3" stainless exhaust, manual boost controller. Tyres constantly at 38-40psi But that's just burbs driving, mainly 60km/hr. So full city stop/start driving, 11.low/100 If i do some trips with some 100km/hr limits, i can get into the high 10's.

i bought a R33 HKS super dragger for my R34. Cat back. It was very similar, slightly out in a few spots, i think where the hangers are. Anyways, i just got it modded

Fitted New Rims - Need Balance/alignment?
SS8_Gohan replied to SS8_Gohan's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
haven't taken any pics yet, but i definitely should. be keen to know what polish/products/wax/RO troy is using. I've gotten into detailing recently, and have been learning from the master, finalinspection.com.au car sounds hot though, need some pics too -
isn't the full kit more like $2300? (with the discount) and do R34's have front camber adjustment from factory? or, do we know what adjustments (in total) are available from factory front/rear?

Fitted New Rims - Need Balance/alignment?
SS8_Gohan replied to SS8_Gohan's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Is it all done and dusted? the rims in my sig aren't my rims, i got some R34 GTR rims, the rims in my sig are for sale!! Yeah, i think i should get it aligned, but i don't want to waste money on getting them done when the fronts can't be fixed properly. I'm not sure if the R34's have front camber adjustment, which i'm pretty sure was my problem last time -
Fitted New Rims - Need Balance/alignment?
SS8_Gohan replied to SS8_Gohan's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
yep been to them before, when i had the 17's. I got them balance and aligned there, but my car was pulling when i put those 17's on myself, and a bit of shake a high speeds. Balance and alignment sorted it but, they did say that there wasn't any factory adjustment up front for them to stop chopping out the inside? so am i right in saying there is no camber adjustment for the front wheels? i'm pretty sure i remember Traction Tyres saying they did what they could but the factory adjustments were just not there to be able to stop them from chopping the insides -
yeah, depends how DIY you are, but Ronin's DIY thread is killer if you want REAL projectors in there. other parts can be sourced from hidplanet.com or something like that. Bosch/Hella are probably the base lamps for most the OEM projectors

looks like a cool cruise. Nice spot to have all the cars lined up on the wharf type place like that

Ok, the 18's have arrived and the 17's have come off. Time to sell Rims: AVS Model 5's Size: 17 x 8 front, 17 x 9 (+30 offset) - will double check offset on the front. Tyres: Advan Neova's 255/40 rear - Bridgestone RE030 235/45 front I took off the front Neova's because they were chopped out on the inside. Don't think would be road-worthy, but am happy to throw them in for free as some muck about tyres for drift days/skid pans etc So it's a set of AVS Model 5's with tyres, plus 2 extra Advan Neova's (235/45/R17) Price: $1600 PRICE DROP! $1350 getting silly now!!! $1150!! Here are some pics, i'll have to take some better ones soon. After i given them a clay/polish and some wax as well pic of my car at car yard in Japan in 2004, when J-Spec found my car for me....aaah the memories and just for bling these are prob 19's by the looks of it Seems like approx ~$150 is the going price for sending rims interstate, judging from other rims threads. These are top quality Jap rims, and for reference when these are new.... http://bt-revolution.com/AVS%205.htm $2799 for a set. JUST rims http://www.yokohamatire.jp/yrc/japan/wheel...del5/index.html Advan Neova's are about $350-$400 a corner. NOT cheap tyres. If you're after a QUALITY set of Jap rims, let yourself be known cheers, daniel
