yes/no for increased dodginess to your gearbox with the shifter?

number "1" is going up for auction, or has just recently gone, not sure... that will be MASSIVE $$$$$$ yep 8 is lucky (chinese) 4 =death 2 =easy and there's others, don't know... 6 i think is a good number. my dad has V-TC 888, euro plate so the V is a given, tc initials and of course 8. Surprisingly this is on a BMW EDIT: would SASR-34 be stupid? fascinated by the SAS (Aussie is referred to as the SAS Regiment) and the number is self explanitory

looks like an absolute piece of poo they've used halogen or 4 door lights FFS!

Zymol are one of THE top brands... Their top wax, Zymol Royale..., thousands of pounds Zymol do make some ripper products, as do.. Swissol Zaino Menzerna Optimum Poor Boys P21s Aquatouch (MF products) Polylack Some brands do better jobs than others, some cross-over in what they offer. Eg, Menzerna have some of the best polishes you can buy. Once you get heavily into these top products, it's more personal preference on the way the paint appears, than what's better. Some can give a super optical clarity at the end, but some people prefer a deeper, warmer glow, look. EDIT: Final Inspection use any of the above, but use the best product suited to the car as some suit different colour cars more-so than others. You'll always get THE best products used on your car, even if it's just a Stage 1 exterior detail

was that adding any additional go-fast bits?? or just tuning what came from Nismo??

andi car looks hot mate. But your skirts and rear bar are almost the same height, so you might have been ok without a spoiler, but looks great overall. Where'd you get the spoiler from? i think there is too much of a height difference between the front bar and the rest of the car, maybe i'll take the front spoiler/lip off? EDIT: what's the cm or mm clearance for the front? looks like it's been lowered? i'd love to lower mine, but have trouble as it is with stock height and my front bar.

but he put a boot install in it!!!!!!! :P and some sort of extra hand brake thing :domokun: :domokun:

4th, 5th, 6th, 100th F.I. (final inspection) - Damian is the pro of pro's. You would struggle mightily to find a better detailer in the ENITRE country. Megs make some good products, but don't quite cut it next to some of the top products. Can get all the best stuff from final inspection as well. All depends on how fussy you are. If you're not too fussed, you could probably just raid autobarn for Meguiars products. Or, if you're really keen on your paint/car, you'll find the next level of stuff through final inspection. And it's not that price inhibitive, and less is more when using some of the best products. 2nd PWC (power wheel cleaner), and the F.I. MSTD (mid-sheen tyre dressing, not that super wet chapel st look). And yes, wheel wax afterwards, to help prevent brake dust build up, and basically just let you high pressure water the rims clean with a bit of PWC at your next wash. If someone is cutting and polishing, you can't just leave it after the polish. You must apply some sort of wax/sealant afterwards to protect the paint/clear from all the crap in the air/bird droppings, etc.. this LSP (last stage product) will also help A LOT in the depth and clarity of the paint after the polish. A great, easy to use wax, OCW - Optimum Car Wax - a little carnauba, and part synthetic. Dead-set easy to use. Make sure you have some TOP quality MF (micro-fibre) cloths, otherwise you'll just put swilrs in the clear when buffing the wax. all in the preparation...

flipped it horizontally to get a better idea... i'd love to get the same height kit all the way around, but it's MEGA $$$, hence when i'm thinking of getting a spoiler to help balance it out a bit. And i couldn't just get a lower rear bar, and leave the side skirts, i'd have to do it all at once
-
that's good to know 18 x 10 will fit on the back
-
don't have a back shot... it's just the nismo/altia kit for the sides and back, so nothing new there... i'm thinking the front is too low to not have a spoiler at the back? and i can't really lower it because of the front spoiler, there is a too big a gap between the rims and arches. I've only got 17's as well. 18's will help a little, but not much. so i'm thinking i need the spoiler to balance it out a bit.

does it look better with a spoiler?? excuse the dodgy photochop

surely you have some friends, or relatives that are at least closer? i suppose it's another matter though to know them well enough to stay for a few months, or, weekdays
-
got any friends that live near your work that you can shack up with for a short amount of time? pay a little rent, but get to sleep like an extra 2 hours every morning

don't know if we have fulcrum in melbourne? will check. I think i know the sound of the power steering whirring, i think... and i'm 99% it's not that. got new bushes with my RWC 12 months ago, maybe they've already given up? wheel aligntment and balance about 10 months ago. it's not really self centering that's the issue, it pretty much gets "stuck" sometimes on full lock. a bit hard to explain. will ring around and see if anyone can do a free check. anything else it could potentially be besides the ball joint, bearings or bushes?

Umm... don't even really know if this is the right section, but... car is R34, 98, coupe no suspension mods, standard height, just some different 17" rims, 235 front, 255 rear. I've noticed that when i turn right, mainly slowly, eg. a roundabout, or an off camber right turn, one where it loads up on the left side a bit... something is "groaning" up the front, passenger side? Don't really know if that's the right word, but yeah, it's a rather disconcerting noise... Some high speed turns i can get it to groan, it seems more dependant on how much it's loaded on the left side or left front? noticed also on the skid pan day i was at, when i was trying to "drift" very unsuccessfully The other thing i noticed about that day is that when on full lock, the steering would get kinda "stuck" when i was trying to turn back the other way? So i would be hard full lock one way, then correct and go back the other, but for the first bit it felt like it was "stuck" and i couldn't just smoothly turn back, i'd have to get it to "pop" out of it's stuck position before it's back to normal... not sure if these are common things, or ever related at all. Car was RWC'd last year, march, and got new bushes because the old ones were stuffed/cracked. That would be about the only thing replaced suspension wise. cheers, daniel

99% on getting a rear spoiler... hey forged i'm think that R34's are very hard to get away with, without a spoiler, unless absolutely slammed on big rims, with the same "height" kit all the way around... do you think the car needs a spoiler?

do they still make that mega, ultra, super light rims? kinda P1 style, but more dish, and more shiny... might be more GTR offset/size. I think i saw a pic on a demo R34 GTR anyone know what i'm talking about? There's the p1's which are supposedly like bricks compared to these other buddy club rims... -
