  1. ^ hahahahahaha *still laughing*
  2. i put one on my previous GT-T and there is an easily noticeable difference at high speeds. Cruising around, nothing, but at 80-100km/hr+ you could definitely feel the car was more stable. Even my gf sitting in the passenger seat noticed it and she a) didn't know it was on b) i hadn't even told her i put it on. Maybe it's a bigger difference to a lighter GT-T, but you could definitely tell the difference. there are naca ducts in the standard diffusers. as for the Z-Tune diffuser having 2.2 times more downforce..... that's relating to the front - diffusers can be front and rear. The front Z-Tune diffuser is mix of CF and magnesium... looks sex, can't buy em though unless you're a Z-Tune owner (or know one i guess) - hate to think how much they are...
  3. Scotty, the United Scoresby one is just past the east link on Ferntree Gully rd, on the left hand side (driving away from the city) - it's very close to Caribbean gardens. 34 Outlets now with United... noice! 4. that is a fantastic price for genuine OEM Plastic parts that fit perfectly. This is a great deal for anyone looking, Sports/Altia front bumper, with these skirts on a nice stance... perfect R34 GT look IMO (unless spending big $$ for East Bear)
  5. yeah, i wouldn't bother around with all that if you're running Nistune, get an ECU with a digital input. You'll find most people run the Link G4's for this sort of thing, or the Vipec equivalent. There is a plug'n'play for the 34's.
  6. hahahahah.... indeed. Melbourne is quite spoilt for E85 outlets - United has quite a few now, it's a pity the Caltex roll-out seems to have stalled a bit though. Don't really care though, as you're better off running United anyway. United in Scoresby has E85 that wasn't on the website last time i looked too.
  7. I've got a Sard cat which was the pick of the Japanese ones, but was uber $$ from retail pricing i dug up. you talking about these guys? http://www.hjs-motor.../catalysts.html
  8. for the lazy people who can't be bothered clicking
  9. i swear there was a 300V one... even had a brief chat to Trent about it the other day.... - maybe they got their promo pics mixed up and it wasn't meant to be for the 300V range? maybe that's why i can't find it...
  10. i can't for the life of me find the 300V promo pic, i saw it on Athid's fb but can't find it! > can't find it on Motul OZ fb either, i'm sure it's there, might just have to look again... it was like this.. Yeah i'm using Edge for the cold start as well as my car doesn't see the track much, so i think the Edge is a real good fit for a lot of us. E85 friendly, latest specs, not that expensive, 10w for cold start and thick enough for motorsport use.
  11. i forgot to post back again in this thread.. i'm on Castrol Edge 10w60 now - The oil has been updated and now meets the latest API SN / ILSAC GF-5, so you guys can go nuts with Edge. It's not that expensive either. For a track 26, i'd say it's the oil of choice as it's not that $$, and it's E85 friendly. Motul 300V range has also been updated to be E85 friendly (officially now) but i think they want you to change it a lot more frequently if you're using it with E85 nisskid - the viscosity spread was a bit of a concern to me as well, but track 26's need a thicker oil, 50w at least and all of Racepace engines run Edge 10w60 and would probably see the most track time of any down here in Vic. They've been using it for years, so we definitely would have seen issues if there was a problem with it. I'll also be doing UOA testing on Edge in my car with E85, so we'll see how it holds up. I think that with more regular oil changes if you're partaking in motorsport, you won't have to worry about the additive package as much. You'd probably find with oil testing you could get a lot more track days out of an oil change than you would normally think.
  12. thanks do you know what the CR would have been roughly if you just whacked the NEO head on? Anyone reason you picked 9.5 as the CR?
  13. yes, but just wanted to check as the HKS ones have a spot for a sensor, and if i needed it for whatever reason (couldn't really think of one) then i may as well just get the HKS ones. If i don't need it, then i can just get some cheap delete made up i would think. If the Nismo AFM's were like $100, i'd probably just leave them, but they seem to be worth a decent bit of coin, so i may as well sell them. I'd probably get the delete pipes done in black anyway so it looks stock'ish... but really, the AFM's i think would be the last thing to worry about when pulled up and bonnet open
  14. oooo and Ethanol thread... cool here's my write up of my E adventures... and looking at the date, it's been a whole year already! E85/98 Flex-Fuel Mission Complete! Thanks To Chequered Tuning!
  15. nice!! what internals were used in the build if you don't mind me asking?
  16. sweet, thanks guys! hmm... might have to ask scotty about fabricating costs, not the cheapest things are they. is the air intake sensor temp port necessary?
  17. As per title... anybody make delete pipes available off the shelf? Or does everyone just get them custom made as they're simple parts? Keep forgetting i've got Nismo AFM's sitting in the engine bay doing nothing as i'm running MAP.... whoops
  18. i remember reading somewhere people were finding 600-650hp were pushing the limit of the standard rods? but that probably relates to motorsport applications, rather than street cars i would assume.
  19. FC? that's cheap. How much is a Z32 Nistune setup? must be pretty close $ wise to a second hand FC?
  20. E85 won't be +30% if you do mainly highway of say 80km/hr+ kms... my GT-T got to +10-15% on 98 fuel economy with E85 and that was back when E85 was 97cents a litre... was much winning and to the person thinking of going z32 ecu nistune - i think change your ecu plans, FC or Link plugin. Nistune is great, and i highly recommend it... but for 33 owners, there are better options.
  21. understatement of the year? hahahah lol That is a f*ck load of power... did you go an AMS kit for that?
  22. really? thought the fronts might scrub a bit... rears i can definitely see being ok are the pics of your car above with x11's?
  23. DD days are pricey but you have some really knowledgeable teachers on hand as much as you want. DD days are really good iMO but the WRX/SAU champ rounds are much cheaper, $160'ish - last one i went to there was plenty of track time, as much as you could handle really. DECA's are $70, but a bit of a drive. I think a DECA type facility closer in to the suburbs would help a bit, cheap and accessible and not 'track work'. Just go a fry some tyres if you want, be stupid. You can't really be stupid at somewhere like Sandown. I think is what's needed to at least get some of it off the street. And then leverage off that to get people more into the 'bigger' motorsport events
  24. v8tzr - just pop into Race Pace, they'll be able to sort you out from mild to full race
