  1. don't think so? prob just have to join to post. not enough hours, and too many restrictions
  2. well my R34 was the test car used by a workshop up in Sydney, so everything had to be 110% done by the book. A team of 2 guys from DOTARS comes out to trawl over the car, and pick "discussion items". The UV glass is definitely legal.
  3. ^ ...anyways, what's the go marcus??? How are we looking? Are the LED parkers in yet? cheers, chinny
  4. ali, check out Ronin's thread. The projector's with HID kits are passable from what i've heard. Obviously not the best option. how handy are you with building things, electrics, etc? maybe you can do a retro fit yourself.
  5. i think it's an improvement, but hard to tell from those pics. black FTW
  6. i think mine is aquatouch
  7. r34 gt-t any more room up front? i'm keen on a set of rims that unforunately only have these dimensions...
  8. beefy, if that's your car... it looks HOT!! that car is friggen mean. did you have a R33 GTR previously?

    Hoon Law?

that's pretty damn easy... DON'T DRIVE! don't have to be a rocket surgeon to figure that one out. If everyone "made sure they weren't caught", then no one would get caught! my goodness...
  10. my rear quarters have a 'UV Cut glass' sticker on them. Maybe it's not a film...
  11. i've seen halogen (4 door/non turbo) assemblies go for $600, but watching what people are finding over in the Slidewize R34 gear thread, low $900's is the lowest i've seen him quote how much a pair of xenons will cost from the yahoo auctions (delivered) If you look at your lights evil, do you see the word 'Xenon' embossed anywhere?
  12. flirty4, i think you'll find this place most interesting... www.finalinspection.com.au/forums /hynotised voice: "joinnnnnn uss....."
  13. meh... get a waffle weave drying towel (micro-fibre) instead. they're the shiz, and much better than (yes greg is correct) a chamois
  14. ^ i like that idea. Save money by importing, use saved money on some 18" hotness. black FTW. Saw one in the states with the kit, little rear spoiler, etc... looked awesome i must admit
  15. super string theory FTW!!!
  16. danny, that sounds VERY plausible, seems you could fix my problems no dramas, too bad you're uber busy. Don't think i could leave my car for a couple days at this stage. How's the next few weeks looking for you? problem with authorised dealers/sellers is that some just sell the products, but don't necessarily know much in-depth about them. I might give them a call, see if i can sus out anything out. Springvale is ok, not too far. battery is 1 year old. But it's quite small, the cranking amp value was definitely on the lower side, but it is very new.
  17. seems low, but i'm by no means an expert... how much did it cost you?
  18. S2000 look good because they are projectors, and hence, will "twinkle" these kits however, will not. All they'll do will blind on-coming traffic. Could you take a pic of your car pointing at a garage door/wall etc?
  19. battery drainage issues and remote start issues. The MAIN problem being the battery drain, after say... 30+ hours? don't know exactly. had a guy at an autobarn take a squiz after it stopped talking to my remote one day (after a battery drain), so he re-synched it all up. Fiddled with the remote start to make the car crank longer, but doesn't help. so, don't want to take it back there. I might give the freeway car audio people a call, malvern is a much friendlier location than Preston.
  20. mega cut couldn't make it, anymore thoughts on the next dyno day? is there a R33 GTR with 143kw's in that list?
  21. only 35 coupe i've seen in the flesh was in the U.S., it was black, looked haaawt. Gold brembos and the track kit/rims blue colour? hmmm... not so sure, it's not bad
  22. as far as i know, the only way to focus headlights is to have the factory spec globe in there. The reflectors have been designed for the specific light output/pattern of the globe Nissan used. Doesn't mean you have to use an OEM globe, but i would guess that is preferably in this situation to make sure it's all cleared up. Sounds like it's not a highly technical procedure they were using, hence i reckon you can do this yourself. Make sure the globes haven't been changed to some crappy "blue" look globes, or "ultra white" etc, etc... or worse still, and after market HID conversion. Different coloured globes can cause the light output to be out of whack a little.
  23. hi y'all just wondering if anyone knows of any places that specialise in Directed Electronics products (same mob that make Viper alarms), or maybe specificially, Viper alarms? I have some "issues" that i would VERY much like looked at, but it think it's a rather specialised thing and want to take it to a professional, rather than go down the "friend of a friend" road. I think i have one contact for a place in Preston, but i live Bayside way, so i'm hoping some people might know something closer, yada yada. cheers, daniel
  24. it's not quite there yet.... still has the "Topic Subscription Reply Notification..." infront. Now it's including the thread title at the end. Is it possible to 'remove' the 'Topic Sub....' etc? cheers daniel
