M3 CSL was good enough to beat a GT3 around Winton. What they did with the CSL was very impressive IMO. 265kw's from a 3.2ltr Straight Six N/A, that's some decent "engineering". I'm waiting on the BMW V10 to be put in something A LOT less than 1800kg's.

drove the twin turbo 3 coupe, and the old man is getting one in Jan. Definitely very quick, but ain't GTR territory. 0 - 100 round 5.8 i believe. In terms of price, i believe the new V8 M3 of 2008 will be very similar price. around the $175k'ish mark. But, the new M3 is going to have to do a lot. But with the 335i coupe already close on the E46 M3, you know BMW will pull out something special for the next M3 on price alone, i think GTR v M3, will be quite similar. I daresay the GTR will demolish the new M3. on skills alone, the main one is GTR v 997 Turbo. By all accounts, Nissan has got this one pretty much sorted as well

well, Splitfire coilpacks are the same model for S2 R33 and R34, so quite possibly?

s15 run projector headlights, yes? projectors have a nice clean cut off, and are best suited to Xenon bulbs. Hence 99% of factory Xenon headlights are put in projectors. R34's have reflector assemblies. Do your headlights have the word 'Xenon' embossed anywhere? When was your car complianced? original globes wouldn't even be H1's. They would be like D2R Xenon bulbs. Originals weren't even halogen's. nismos15, could you take a pice of your headlights pointing at a garage door or wall? do you have any pics of this kit in a car without projector headlights?

you might have H3's as you might have the halogen headlight assemblies? Early on in the R34 compliance stage, the entire headlight assembly was being changed. Now they just modify the Xenon assemblies. either way, unless i see some pics... R34 owners at least will prob be quite disappointed with any HID changeover. You really need the OEM parts... but again, waiting on pics.

these Xenon kits aren't really for hi beam, it's for lo beam. Aftermarket HID kits aren't designed for hi-beam, because they don't really come on instantly, and take a little while for the light/colour to stabilise. only the more luxury marques are releasing bi-xenon recently, last couple years. And i think even then, it involves having a bit of a shield over the hi-beam light yeah, you can put some really white/blue halogen globes in if you wanted

that's pretty good considering i get around the same with a DEAD stock car. So more power, and same fuel economy, sounds good to me yeah, see how you go with non-spirited driving. If you can get into the 11's, that would be crazy. The modifications would start paying for themselves i'm looking for the 200rwkw's too, and have the almost the exact same exhaust mods (waiting to go on car) So this is a tops thread! so roughly how much in total did the tuning cost?

do you have pics of your lights nismos15? preferably pointing at a flat surface? i've got a kit in my R34, and the light is SHITHOUSE. Don't know if it's like that without having the OEM parts, or i need a new kit

I just had the car resprayed, and they're like. Dude, you've got a very, very good quality front bar there
