Altia, to be exact. I use the term "nismo" rear bar and side skirts, because that's the one most known to people. A lot of people don't know there is a completely separate NISMO kit for the R34 GT-T. So i guess it comes under the banner of optional AERO kit, made by Altia, commonly referred to as the "Nismo kit". hope that doesn't confuse anyone. It's the factory option kit you see on quite a few R34's, that's always referred to as the Nismo kit.

pearl isn't happening boys and girls. Got some body kits parts that i'll most likely sell, so it's GV1 with maybe a little tweaking, we're going to see how it goes. The option is a little more metallic, but i'm not sure if i want to keep it looking as black as possible? wondering whether extra metallic might take away from that a bit.. Tiida a newish nissan? a small car? Sounds nice, might have to check their website or something...

car is being resprayed at the moment, hopefully have it back late next week? Skirts/rear bumper are going to be sprayed GV1 (R34 Black) and obviously, will be immaculate. Depending on what $ i'm offered, i'll be getting another body kit (can't drive around with no rear bumper ) i'll put pictures up when i get the car back. Obviously, it's going to be of benefit to those who already have a GV1 R34

g/f and i saw some tosser throw a cigarette butt out the window the other day, has been reported. rd, time, type of car (rare'ish car, unless you were an import enthusiast, you wouldn't have known what it was) etc etc... if they can be contested fairly, for those legitimate cases, i think it's a good idea to have a system like this. If retards didn't do things like throw cigarette butts out windows, there wouldn't really be a need for this. Most people are generally good with litter these days, i swear most the people who throw cigarette butts on the ground wouldn't just drop an empty cigarette packet. I just don't understand why they think a cigarette butt is any different?? it's just really baffling?

yeah the service point is spot on. I didn't think about that. My dad is on his 3rd BMW (530i) and has paid deposit for his 4th (335i, twin turbo baby!) and now my bro works for Bib Stiwell BMW. The service levels are pretty crazy and there is just NO comparison between Nissan and BMW. They could learn A LOT from how the M division people treat their prospective and real customers. People with deposits get an all expenses paid trip to Phillip Island to thrash about in the range of M cars, including a hot lap with John Bowe i think? Invited to all these special launch dinners, etc, etc... there's a lot of special attention. And i would think Nissan would need to do the same for deposit GTR owners. I aggree, i think a specialised service/dealer is really the only way to go, given how much $ the next GTR is going to be.

ooo, let me know how much the blackening of the rims costs... i'm very keen to do this... not sure if i want to go gloss or matte... would they need the car for a whole day or more to do it?

I'd imagine if you explained the situation, they'd be reasonable. yeah, it's 99% going to be factory black with some more metallic, for a bit more interest in the sunlight. I like the idea of a bit more silver showing up in some light, and i think a few more metallic chips can do the job rather waste money on a silver pearl. plus, as you can see, the side skirts and rear bumper are probably going, so if it's factory black, it's going to match other ppl's cars. So, what is the factory black paint code for a R34? GV1??? Yep, DT Panels are looking after me at the moment

but whatever the kit is, it's going to be completely unique here, so gotta add to the price if you want to sell your R34 tho

man... looks like i should have really used a 'sarcastic' smilie... ppl think i was being serious! i always thought that a coupe was an eclosed car with 2 doors. Sedan, 4 doors. I don't know of any 2 door sedans? although some of these new designs (mercedes) claim they have 4 door coupes... but in the traditional sense i thought a sedan was 4 doors. i was being sarcastic ppl's! I know there weren't any 4 door 300zx's.. it was in response to the article description of the car.

Still would love to know what a black with silver pearl looks like before i do it EDIT: purple looks good on that car, but not my thing sorry. The car is definitely staying black, it's just what combo of black i'm not sure...

my R34 has been shocking me more recently? i've got NGK iridiums and Splitfire coilpacks... but it definitely wasn't the packs, maybe after i changed the sparkies, but i thought it was when i put my HID kit in (gotta ground stuff to the car)?? maybe it was the sparkies then? my carpets are still quite lush and fluffy, i thought it might have been those as well
