xenon globes i think have this like graphite type rod running down the lengh of the globe, not connected to the glass bit, but running parrelel with it...

hi y'all ok, will most likely be getting a full respray in the next week or so, currently have a Nismo rear bar and side skirts on the car, which may or may not go, depending on what sort of interest i get. If they go, they will be immaculate, as they will be fresh from a full respray, factory black, whatever that paint code is, K something. I've already sold my Nismo front bumper a few months back, if anyone asks about that. Car is R34 GT-T Coupe, Nismo/Altia kit. Also have the Nismo/Altia rear wang if anyone is interested in that, has been removed from the car. cheers, daniel

not a chance in hell of having the GTR cleared in a year from release, i think we're better off getting them here. Doesn't matter what country the car is available in, a new car will always depreciate. It's exactly the same, 1 year old GTR in japan, 1 year old GTR in Oz, both would have lost $ from the when they left the showroom. Will get them quicker and same price if released here.

the above cog (i used to turn with a flathead screw driver) adjust the Hi-beam up/down. The screws on the far side of each assembly (closest to the front guards) control low-beam left/right but i haven't found anything adjusts the lo-beam up/down - i'm not sure if there is a manual adjustment for it as they have the electronic switch in the car. does anyone know, definitively, that there is an MANUAL up/down adjustment for the lo-beam on R34 Xenon assembly's? cheers, daniel

i don't have my mind set on anything, i'm taking all you've said on board and agree TOTALLY that the light is shit, that it won't ever be as good as OEM and i need an OEM kit. I'm not disputing you there at all. i'm just trying to make the best of a bad situation, ie, fiddle with the globe, see if i can get it a little sharper. Change the headlight angle, so i can see, just litting things whilst i either change back to halogen or source an OEM kit. I've talked to a few OEM owners, so i'll see if i can compare side by side one. If you had any pictures you could post up, that would be most appreciated. And if people are wondering about R34 adjustments, the screw on the far side of each assembly (nearest the front guards) controls Low-Beam left/right, the white cogs here.. controls the HI-beam up/down - have yet to find the Low-beam up/down... i don't eve know if there is a manual adjustment for it. i mean the light cut-off thaka, if u see a honda Euro projector, there is a nice line. So it's either "light" or "no-light" there's no inbetween. Watch a OEM xenon car go down a small street one time, look at the side of the road, you'll see a nice clean cut-off, really noticable when it goes of speed bumps or something. and how would one turn these? the closest one spins free like anything, the back one isn't too happy to move....
