maybe it's more relative to the forced induction knowledge/experience that cosworth has, over renault? more experience with 6's maybe?? maybe there were already connections with the ppl working on the engine, with those at cosworth, maybe even some JGTC connections? i guess when it comes to specialists engine tuning, Cosworth might have more know-how - same sort of logic with going to Lotus for suspension tuning... both are up there in their respective fields... then again, i'm probably the worst person to comment on this... maybe Justin can help out

aircon is part of compliance as far as i knew... not some "special" extra thing just for you - it's just standard, and if done properly, you have to regas... actually it should have a regas certificate before it even enters the country, if i remember correctly.

He'd just come from doing a lot of driving in the new 997 Turbo (what a freak of a car! i'll take 6!!) and what he said about the testing was... watch out 997 Turbo.... that's damn exciting if you ask me

ok, thanks to Chris's help and some dude from Autobarn, i got the alarm working again. Key On, Press valet once, and release Press and HOLD valet Press 'lock' on viper remote relase valet Key Off gotta be done within 20 seconds apparently. I may have un-programmed the remote or something, because remote start doesn't work anymore, but i might just have to assign the button to a channel or something. So all those owners with the same alarm, and if you get this problem when changing a battery, give the above a shot. cheers! daniel
