  1. that just a GTS-T? rims are hot! gotta love the GT4's exhibit a, yes looks bad without have the cars kit low all the way round... i'm looking for skirts and diff rear bar... not many nice kits for the 34 unfortunately...
  2. my gtt has same said viper, remote start works, key must be in and turned and then i have to press the accelerator i think, or the brake, i forget. i don't really use it... sounds quite harsh standing on the outside when i remote start. I've heard this is bad for the alternator? might just be internet rumour... it's handy in certain situations, got it wired to my mirrors, but i can't get the mirrors to fold out when i disarm, quite easy to get the mirrors to fold in on the arm though. cheers EDIT: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=127914 - please help with my problem as well, seems like there are some alarm savy ppl in here...   3. it's the different colour bit at the bottom of my front bar. You can get a front spoiler and then a lower lip, which is what i've got, but generally, you can just call the lower big of my front bar the front lip spoiler. sorry i can't draw a squiggly little red paint line, pointing to the spoiler, at work at the moment.
  4. yeah, exactly that... i'll press arm... attenna flashes and then beeps... which i always took as it's got no response from the car... i'll have a squizz at the manual as well, aslo not sure where mine is either

  7. hey y'all i've got a thread in the security section, sorry for putting this in here as well but i won't to clear this up asap, for security reasons. I got a new battery put in yesterday, all sweet, battery put in when car wasn't armed, just off. Now i can't arm the alarm... it's a viper, will go into more specifics if needed later. have i reset something with removing and replacing the battery? or do i need to reset something? need to get is sorted asap so i'm not just using the lock/unlock on the car key. cheers, chinny
  8. hey everyone, i got a new battery put in yesterday, all sweet, except the alarm won't arm now. Have i reset something or do i need to reset something?? Alarm is a Viper, will go into specifics if need be, but i'm hoping it's a simple problem... cheers, daniel

  11. looks like the quote i got was pretty good then, i know the guys quality and even troy have heard of him, hehehe it was a bit of mates rates though, did come with a request... he wanted the rear quarters and rear windscreen taken out, and the door trims removed, then he'd come pick it up on his truck. This would be on my own accord, and the price was $3k including fixing up rust spot under the boot brakelight and welding up the 7 holes per side, on the rear quarter panels, all inclusive. I think he was going to tape the door jams to where the weld line is?? But he said to do it properly he wanted the windows out, non of this folding back the rubber stuff... so is that a fair price? i know it will be a good job at least (seen his work on my dad's bimmer) but i'm not sure if doing all those things he wanted, myself, adds up to a lot of money and i could find that price without having to do all that stuff myself... cheers, and thanks for the help guys chinny
  12. $800? that's not too bad... i was quoted bout $1200 alone to fix the two rear quarters up.. how did the blend to the roof go? i might pay these guys a visit and get a quote for the quarters and or full respray to avoid blending issues... especially if they've done one before. i've taken my wing off and just put gaffa tape over the holes... not a very good solution... seems to keep the water out though... pretty strong tape. EDIT: looks like a great job from the second pic. You weren't completely happy with it by the sounds of it?

  14. hey there, just wondering what people think is a decent price for a full respray, in the same factory colour and not taking the engine out? So nothing really all that special... what should i expect to pay for something like that? also, anyone know of good places to go? just wanted to get a bit more background on this before going with one possible option i have... cheers, chinny

  19. so according to the calulator i shouldn't change rims where the difference is greater than 3%.. must admit, didn't quite follow the site... said 265/40/R18's were 5.3%, didn't like it... what exactly does the site tell me?
  20. that's cos the car is smiling troy, shit... i'd be too if i'd look like that - give a big cheesy one to the guy with the camera pete's right, just a protective layer before i spray it... i toyed with the idea of having the car done satin black, so a little matte, but a little shiny too... i think i ended up thinking it was a silly idea. stock R34 GTT tyre/wheel combo's are 17", 225/45 i think? do i have to keep the same diameter? i'm guessing 18" with 40 tryes would still be bigger than 17" 45? yeah, it's $1200 i think, without the lower lip parts (2 sections, another couple hunge) and then you gotta spray it... will be a little disappointing when there are dodge fibreglass copies of this floating around... oh well, at least i can say i had the first one or an original one...
