hey everyone, well had something really weird happen on me today driving to work, fuel guage went from half to empty.... in 1 km! a wicked fuel economy of 3000ltr / 100km's, yeah!! i wasn't leaving a trail of flamming fuel behind me and the car was still running fine despite being dead on empty with low fuel light on so i know i've still got fuel but was wondering what could be the cause of the guage thinking there is no fuel left? cheers, daniel

$150k for this car, and what it's going to be, is an absolute steal. Fingers crossed in 2.5years time, or whenever it gets here... i'll be able to package/lease one of these babies... ultimate bang-for-buck IMO.. screw the $315-$330K for a porka 911 turbo...

how american culture pervades... l.a. cops i believe have the motto 'to serve and protect' - i don't think any cops in australia have this motto... 2 x undercover SS's patrol beach rd, Silver and Purple. You can tell from the rear windscreen, 1 or both have a sun-visor type type thing to hide the red/blue lights.... i haven't come across them whilst i've been in the 34, so i'm not sure if they are the hunting type...

so if you're cruising on say flat road, 5th is better, but if you start accelerating, it's better to drop into 4th, even if you don't want rapid acceleration?

if the car is a dark purplish, and not black, it's a respray i'm pretty sure. have seen some ppl spray it the midnight purple colour of the 33/34 GTR's... engine bay same colour? door sills show any variations in colour, tape marks etc?
