  2. work at ANZ dorcas st till 9pm, but will organise to start 1 hour earlier so i can pop on down... it's good that it's nice and close exciting... my first meeting and it's an AGM
  3. so what are the chances of getting taxes? I contacted 'bigsully' and can get some in 1.5 weeks for a price cheaper than Nengun + potential taxes, but more than the current nengun price of $597
  4. 'bandwidth limit exceeded'
  5. i got a 3" hi-flow CAT and 3" front/dump pipe from BATMBL (not yet fitted) i think $420 for both (delivered) - just gotta find a 3" catback now... but i think i might go custom as i can't find anything that sits nice and straight, and parallel to the ground. I know straighter is better, but some just "look" f*cking ugly IMO... been doing some suburb driving and got about 180km's from 20L, maybe more 175km's from 20 litres? not too bad...
  6. hey y'all wondering if anyone has pics of R34 GTR's without rear spoilers? Preferably in standard kit form.... it's proving quite a task to find a copy or reasonably priced GTR rear spoiler and i'm actually starting to like the no rear spoiler look... so yeah, eventually i'll have a full GTR kit, but would be interested to see what they'd look like without a rear spoiler... cheers, chinny.

i need naaawwss!!! when's the next one guys? September? f*ck if my car ain't ready by then i'm going to f*cking kill myself... or the car, one or the other. Looks like a great weekend, and i keep missing 'em
  8. in terms of compliance.... my R34 is being used as a test vehicle for a workshop up in Sydney... yes R34 compliance under SEVS has been around for a while, but my car was at the syd workshop from August '04, and i took the car from them March '05. it's Now May '05 and i still don't have a compliance plate... so... point is... the compliance might be a looonng way off for these things. Whenever imports, engineers, DOTARS are involved, things have a magical way of blowing WAAAYY out of schedule
  9. so i'm going to have to wait for the splitfires am i?????? so i should just place the order now to get it asap?
  10. yeah, under $600 INCLUDES shipping, estimate of around $54... that's why i was wondering if i was just completely missing something, considering how much other places were selling them for...
  11. hey everyone, with at least one of my 34 coil packs kicking the bucket, i thought f*ck it, i'll just go get the good stuff (splitfire) and not have to worry bout it again... now justjap have em at around $990, and the sole aussie distributor in nSW has them for $990 as well... but Nengun has them for under $600 with shipping??? am i missing something here? if i'm not, i'll just order 'em straight away from nengun. cheers, daniel P.S. Are Splitfire U.S. or Japan company? I don't know where it would be shipped from if i bought them from Nengun...
  12. i was wondering what it was too, i thought it looked and sounded awesome. 2.5ltr twin turbo V6 with 4WD. I think it looks tops, and i'd imagine a fair bit of potential too.. think it would be a good snow basher, and the keep 34 for other duties
  13. hehehehe, sorry nismo.. um.. i heard you have to gap down your sparkies?? from like 1.1mm to 0.8mm?? Apparently there are some gains to be had here... but i don't quite understand... or even know if you HAVE to gap down...
  14. sorry mate, no luck with Vic Roads. My spot is fully up cheers.
  15. Just realised that there is a Single Trip permit you can get from Vic Roads, i'll sus that out tomorrow and i might be able to fill one of those spots for ya.. cheers. chinny.
  16. so regardless, i should change coil packs? is there are way to check if any are good? or should i just replace the whole lot....
  17. may i ask what the problem ended up being if it wasn't the coil packs?
  18. but it was having the same problems?? TCS and engine check lights on and car running like a subaru??
  19. bump! $2500 and that's it. Still including the free restring. Guitar hasn't been played in looong time now. John Mayer has a signature Fender Strat out now, so i need money to buy that anyone interested? $2500 really is a stupid price for this guitar...
  20. freak ppl out further, i think there are 3 Series trust me, the Altia rear wing is fugly AVS rims? car isn't registered yet... so it's gotta remain stock, they'll be going straight on tho...
  21. temporary solution? they just cheapo quality, and die after 1, 2 years or something?
  22. that's $650 bucks!!! is it bad for other parts of the car driving it with bodgy coil packs?
  23. Ok. Got Temp rego, and got insurance with Shannons. Took the car down to workshop on Sat morning... same thing, car heats up to normal operating temp, and starts running like shit, and the lights come on. Was driving on "a" hwy, so i could open her up a bit, so just get driving it, doing laps of the hwy. Some times the power delivery got kinda jerky, like it would rev to 5K, then like drop back, then kick on again. But after some more driving, started to become smooth again. Turned car off/on, and the lights went off. So now i'm thinking, it just need a "real" drive, not something just around the block. Bring car back into workshop, plug in scan tool. ECU has logged 'Code 21' - some sort of ignition problem. So it's most likely the coil packs? - Got the scan tool to clear the codes, and the car was fine. Even though it's running fine, should i still change the coil packs? anyways, so yeah. Code 21, i'm guessing that's the same prob you've got there Ryan.
  24. yep, Altia kit.... and unfortunaltey my car had/has the ugly wang... i've semi-dismantled it (removed side bits) but left some nasty holes which are going to cost $ to fix.... piccies.. http://users.bigpond.net.au/chinny/pict0560.jpg - i think pic rang from 541 - 562 if you wanna change the link, and see the rest of the pics. Got pics of the car straight from the back, one with side bits and one without.
  25. I was getting 300km's to half a tank when driving it back from Sydney. Full car (2 ppl, 4 rims, other suff) and it was 34 degrees, with air-con running the whole way. I reckon could get quite a bit better for highway driving. So highway bout 10L/100km's... prob guessing around 13L/100km's when i started driving it around the burbs...
