www.upimports.com.au - haven't had any work done personally, but they said they could do a respray for me (not engine) well within your price range there. They've looked after quite a few SAU ppl, but not sure if anyone has had a respray there... but i'm sure Dean or Chris could help you out. cheers.

judging by the number of P platers in skylines, and what must be a few claims here and there, there is no problem at all. They let you insure it in the first place, and from the looks of things, don't care about p/w. Until Vic Roads gets there act together with p/w, no-one, including the Police, can be too hard about it... unless a car is actually listed

i was going at it with im, pretty much talking over him, and i could tell he was making more concessions than he really wanted to, and then i heard a click and i could tell i was off the air and he'd gone to the next guy. What happens is that you get the radio coming through on the phone, like 10-15 seconds ahead of the normal radio (for swearing etc) and you'll get a guy asking what you want to talk about... i just said that Skyline and their drivers were being mis-represented by the ppl who had already called in... anyways spoke my mind, felt like i got some of my points across, needed more time tho... a little nervous too... never done anything like that before... for those that missed it, basically i said. - stupid to jump the conclusion that Skyline's are 'death traps' - said that Skyline's comparitively were safer cars than a Commodore of Falcon, said that if you compare the mentioned cars on the year they were made, Skylines had ABS, traction control, air bags, way before the local cars, not to mention better brakes and suspension. - said that i'd feel a lot safer in a Skyline than a crappy little excel or lancer. - also said that what was this magical thing that happens the day you get your full license that means you can drive a hi-po car? It's about education and that any nutter behind any car can speed, and have a bad crash. it was bout the time i made my 'next day, full license' comment that he went back to his 'radio audience' i hope i didn't sound like a complete fool. oooo are these good tyres? I've got these on my car, they're not like R-spec tyres are they? umm.... bringing them back....i'd imagine you'd just have to box em up and send them back seperately, but in terms of legalities i'm sure it's fine as it doesn't look like you can buy them here anyway.

kit is actually 'Altia' - Nissan usually give the final designs of cars to various companies, and little bit before release date to develop body stuff, so you could get a Altia kit as a factory option.... unfortunately i have the heinously ugly rear wang, which leaves dirty fat holes when removed - still coming off tho... my front bar has 'skyline' written on it.

hehehe, nice call but i kinda agree with RB30... but hey, if it's ur thing... wheels look like they've seen a lot of tin foil action.... ie, cheap. Even though i'm sure they cost a bunch, those type of wheels, especially the fan style ones, just look..... cheap. anyways, can't argue with the power mods... nice work, nice to see some brake action there too
