not that i really know what i'm talking about, but maybe class anything as 'modified' if you have more than the 'standard' mods.... then just determine what standard is.. filter/pod/cai, whatever, exhaust bleed valve, boost controller. they seem to be the basic mods... maybe anymore than that, you are 'modified'?? then you got suspension and brake mods :confused: EDIT: just read Al's post on the last page... seems everything is covered..

dorcas st, sth melbourne. Honda accord, 3 ppl, T- intersection, turning left into Dorcas St, attempted drift (fwd drive, so backend wasn't out, just massive understeer) so pretty much wheels pointing down dorcas, but the car was just going straight, 3 park cars on the opposite side of the T- intersection, parked at an angle. Honda hits 1 and partially the other, but due to the angle the cars were parked and domino effect, all 3 are pretty much right off's as they all were pushed in the cars next to them. I was sitting in my car about 50 metres away, laughing my head off as the honda occupants get out and scratch their heads. But here's the REALLY dumb bit..... dude in the back seat was filming!!! Long story short, cops came, someone mentioned camera was being used... asked honda passenger to get it, stupid cops didn't go with him back to his apartment in dorcas st, so if the kid had any brains he would have erased the tape. Anyways, handed the cops the camera a little while later. Absolute retards, t-intersection and they just come flying straight out trying to drift in a FWD Honda accord :tool: take out 3 parked cars, and were lucky to walk away from it. The white car should have hit something, or damaged the car in someway, drive may have learnt something from his stupidity. Because at least the honda tool's won't be trying that any time soon. What golf course were you going to Leewah? I was playing Monday as well...

hey drifter, i only turned 21 bout 3/4 weeks ago, so i have been quoted as a 20 yrd old (altho, age doesn't really matter, it's about how many full years of insurance history you have) Rating 4, Just Cars, Turbo R34, - $2467, drops to about $2100 or $2000 rating 3. Hefty i know, but relative to my age and type of car, it's not bad. Hell, AAMI wanted $2500 full comp for my '91 pulsar hatchback! 1.6ltr!! Doesn't matter what car you insure at our ages, it's still gonna cost heaps for full comp, so i just thought, why not get a good car then? cheers.

i went with J-Spec to get my R34 GT-T... i can guarantee you there is NOTHING dodgy about these guys. I think you'll find A LOT of cars here at SAU have been found via J-Spec of Prestige Motorsport. I would say a HUGE percentage would be from either of these 2. They seem to have the most reputable name here, so i wouldn't worry about being scammed. Give J-Spec a go, i know they've still got plates for 34's, and the compliance place is in Sydney, so handy for you as well. cheers, chinny P.S. if you've got any q's about importing/J-spec just give me a buzz if ya want.

some of the Euro cars on full howl would probably receive a letter if cops thought it was a Jap car. Seen some Maserati's boot it, as well as some Ferrari's, noisey shit... just a different note.... but decibel wise i wouldn't imagine there would be much in it compared to an aftermarket exhaust on a turbo Skyline.
