ah yeah, i remember now. One of the systems uses like GSM, and another is Satellite, each had it's own advantages and disadvantages. Like if u parked in an under ground car park, stuff like that.
-
yeah, u got it mate

hahahaha, just saw 2 eps from the simpsons y'day, 1 on 10, the other on Fox 8, both had Bill Cosby immpersonations, what a pissa!!!!!! there's the one u've got dark, there's the pokemon one (that's the funniest ) and also another one when the simpson family are on the reality tv show. anyways, i didn't post what i thought it meant for a reason, so i just didn't give away what it did mean, let u guys work it out, looks like not everyone did

i think what the guy was saying before R31Nismoid was that there has been no race presence of the GTR over the last decade, which is true. Last race was 92, the wet bathurst year?? but he has said they are still being used on the road, just think he was trying to get at the racing aspect of it. cheers.

hey guys/gals, walking up Dorcas st to St.Kilda road after work and see this nice Pearl Lexus IS2000 (too many 0's??? same class as the 3 series, if ya know what i mean) anyway, just looking at it thinking, yep, pretty tidy then noticed personalised plates: "TKSDAD" i'm thinking, tks, hks (what!! it kinda makes sense!!) then it hits me, and i started laughing and the ppl who walked passed me gave me lots of weird stares anyways, just thought i'd share this with ya'll and no u can't have ur 2 mins of ur life back!! they're mine now!!, muuhhahhahahah!!!

R34 GTR Wheels on R33 GTS-t
SS8_Gohan replied to borry's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
shit, didn't realise that they were that cheap!! i don't think i'd really care if i bought some that were scratched a bit, still would look awesome. reckon they'd fit on a R34 GT-T ok? (sorry bout the digression!) -
well i'm kinda in the same boat, i'm a youngin as well. So engine mods aren't high on my list of things i want, in fact, i just don't want them when i want to buy it. I'll increase the engine mods when I feel confident that i won't mod a tree to side of my car

more food for thought (just when u thought u were confused enough!!) something else to think about with this new scheme (which i'm hoping for) is that in the next months demand from the australian market at the auctions is going to drop off dramatically. And i would have to think that a significant drop in demand from us aussies would also have a significant effect on the auction results in Japan. Basic economics i guess, supply and demand. Same supply, but demand has decreased, cheaper auctions prices. Yeah compliance is more expensive, but will prob even itself out with the decreased cost of the actual CAR. what! i can hope can't i!!!

hey alex, yeah when i was talking to the prosperion guys they said that i'd have to get NavTrak installed. i think they said 1600 for installation and coverage for the first year, then 300 a year after that for coverage. I also think they said that NavTrak was better because it had like 3 satellites monitoring instead of 1 for quicktrak, something like that. chinny

sorry, but i thought we should bring the thread back to more important topics...
-
jennifer garner pls! i really got into that Alias show, that rocked.
-
well i saw 2 examples of cops speeding without lights or sirens down south road, 60km/hr zone, at least 100. 1 was a wagon, the other was just a crappy commodore. Bout 3 hrs apart, so weren't straight after each other. Really made me angry.

Vancouver?? chose an awesome city Andrew. Seattle is a little bit away, but it is really nice too, check out the Microsoft headquarters, that place is bloody huge!!! Oh and also check out the Monterey Peninsula, bout 1.5hr drive south from San Fran, that place really rocks. i'm glad i got to meet ya at least once, at the last import cruise. keep in touch dude, start a thread or something, maybe u can post pics and update us on where ya at. And any funny travel stories, i'm sure u'll have heaps. stay safe chinny.

what's ur mum driving?

wow, i didn't realise how many of us teenagers actually borrowed money! i guess it is a pretty good way to go cos for the first couple of years u'll pay it back normally but as soon as u get a decent job (if say ur just working at macca's, not that macca's can't be decent ) u can prob knock off the loan real quick and avoid all the nasty interest. By the way, what's the interest on these size loans? like the 15-20K ones?? I wish i had time to do the amount of work some of u guys have, like 30+ hours a week. I'd be driving the R34 now!! , stupid Uni. But i guess $27K in 19 months ain't bad, at 17.5 hrs of work a week. /me goes back to saving
-
yeah i heard drilled pedals are no good, but u can get same effect by having black rubber, looking like the black holes that would normally be there with the drilled pedals. It's even hard to tell from the above photo with it's rubber, or just a drilled hole.
-
anyone got a scanner and the copy of the GTR vs. Monaro article??? i'd love to see that, watching the V8 Supercar race today (not by choice, TV's at work are stuck on channel 10 at the mo) and for those who have seen the Mines R34 GTR, u think that car would give the supercars a run for their money??
-
it didn't have a carbon bonnet when i saw it, but it could have changed. No stickers on the back either, just the GTR badge.... very stealth
-
so why'd u move to the GT-T then?? Sounds like the Type-R is pretty well sorted car...
-
howdy peeps!! well just like to declare bayside as GTR'ville!! Hampton st today started off with a nice R34 GT-T, yellow, very nice. Followed by a black R32 GTR, then a maroon R32 GTR.... but then, the daddy of them all came out to claim the crown, a White R34 GTR VSpec II N1 !!!!!!!!   Then found it parked outside a house a couple mins walk from mine, had a good squiz. Full roll cage, had two names with aussie flags on the side rear window, but can't remember what they were, John and Steve maybe??? Anyway, fully decked out inside looked absolutely SEX!!!! I'm gonna have a look tomorrow, see if i can take some pics, or ask the guy about it and take some pics. Plates were NSW and were "GTR N1" which makes me think i've seen pics of it here on the forums, Silver Arrowz's posted it i think. Anways it looks very much ready to go. So are there rally's/races coming up that this car could be in?? hehe, bayside rules!!
