hate to be a detail nazi, but the M5 is a 5 ltr V8, 4.9 to be exact and the 540i is a 4.4ltr V8 no such thing as a M540i.

i don't have a skyline, but would love to go on a cruise (become quite the skyline nutter in the last 4 or 5 months, thanks to SAU and SDU ) and i live in Sandringham. anyone live like Sandy, Brighton, Hampton, Black Rock, Beaumaris?? Down bayside way?? I've seen a Yellow R34 GT-T in Hampton St and a Silver R33 GTS-T Series 2, and a Series 1 R33 GTS-T around but not sure if they are even on this forum. but yeah, if anyone with a Skyline lives near me and there happens to be a cruise on, anyone be kind enuf to give a guy a lift? hopefully the Blue R34 GT-T will be here next year (November)

hey guys, just looking at these wheels, i think they look pretty wicked, but if u go to www.nismo.com and check out the price .....woh.....some big bucks, so just wondering if anyone makes a copy of these wheels. and does anyone make R34 GTR kits yet? i know ppl make r33 gtr stuff, not official nissan gear, but not sure if any does copies of R34 gtr kits.... anyways, here's the pic. i like the far right one the best.

inark....just watched the "Star", the M5 is the Star if u ask me!!!!! that movie was f*cking awesome!!! when he goes around the first corner and spins the wheel violently and then lets go, and lets the car do some serious drifting!!! man that looked cool...i wish i could drive a car like that....gotta go watch it again!!

well to be quite honest there are a range of BMW's, called BMW Protect i think. Bullet proof, can withstand hand grenandes, and if the tyres get blown they have this thing inside so they can drive up to 100km/h, lots of other assorted security goodies. bring on the 5 series!!! the "Chosen" one in the season 1 films, is the exact same car as my dad's, full silver, even exact same mags (except the manual gear box ) They handle awesomely, but i don't think i'd be willing to drive one like that!! thanks a billion for the link inark....i'm a bloody BMW nutter!!! now if i hadn't already run down my stoopid telstra allowance for gayble i'd might be able to get the rest of them!!! :cuss:

hey neo/munro in regards to the R34's, if you wanted to fit a R34 GTR front bar to a GT-T, could u cut the original GT-T bonnet to fit the front bar....i'm just trying to get an idea whether it can be done without buying a new bonnet ($$$$$ ) and no, i don't have the GT-T yet, just an idea i have for when i get it. regards,

i'm still not that sure kabab, cos the yellow GT-T's seem to be fairly common, but that ain't on the colour swatch thing...maybe it's a blue, but not a GTR blue?? i'll try and get a pic of an auctioned GT-T blue see what u think....

yeah, definately agree the R34 GTR wings do look very nice. with regards to stealing GT wings, is it the way they are put on the car which makes them an easier steal than say a R33 GTR wing?? I've seen a few around, and they look pretty well bolted down, i'd imagine it be pretty hard to get one of if u didn't know what ur were doing. nismo_freak, settle down mate, i 100% was laughing at ur first post, and just thought it was even funnier when u said u'd take my motor and wheels, seems i've got such a bad car, that's all mate, nothing else. yep ur right, the R33 is bigger than the R34, 7.5cm longer, and about 4 cm's wider i think

here's the pic from www.gtrcentral.com the file name is pretty much self explanitory - but isn't the GT-T also have factory yellow available?? or are these the GTR colours, and it's just been named wrong?? :confused:

i was looking thru the upcoming auctions at J-Spec and i've seen a few GT-T's which were blue...and at www.gtrcentral.com (canman's site from SDU) he's scanned in the pamphelts for the GT-T and in the colour bit there was a blue to choose from... :confused:

i've spoke to one of the director guys, just for some advice and helped me out heaps, didn't get the car.....due to some other......situation, that we won't go into....but was really, really helpful. i think one of the reasons why they are a little more expensive than some others, is because they get the car delivered to ur door pretty much, which involves a little more on their part. i've take it u've gone to their site, www.baysidevehicles.com.au i thnk that's it, not sure. i'm sure they explain what they do a lot better.

i think u've got it there Birty, practicality wise, not the better choice if the other option is a R34 GT-T, perhaps maybe for the car after the GT-T. But by then, i'd prob be tempted with a GTR....oh and the RX-8 be out then too.....decisions, decisions The whole reason i started this thread was to get an idea of what i should do when next November comes and i've got money to burn....and thanks to everyone for replying, u've made the job a hell of a lot easier, and i hope to be joining the Skyline ranks next November, R34 GT-T with a full R34 GTR body kit on the car too, it'll look identical (except the guard flares) and NO badges, if it ain't a GTR, doesn't deserve a badge...well that's what i think. But i've been informed that it can be done, so hopefully it'll look the goods once again, thank you everyone for ur opinions... i'll leave u with a little (well it's rather big) pic i found....pretty much a picture of my dreams at night.....enjoy!

yeah, GT-T not really in the RX-7 class....i had no idea how good they actually are until i started doing some research into them, pretty impressive, 1200kg and 206kw, brakes same as R32 GTR (but brakes better cos of weight), just an awesome car...but i think for a daily driver, just a bit too much i think...plus i'd be 20!! I think it's asking for a bit too much trouble. i just happened to see a red one tonight, driving to a friends house.....i'll say it again PURE SEX!!!! It was low as anything, slight bigger rear wing than the standard one, it was dark but the wheels looked pretty shiny...i was on a 60 road, but it had pulled over on the side, so i slowed to 30 and cruised passed to get a look, nearly hit a parked car!!! But it was worth it....looks damn fine.

yeah, i was about to say INASNT that if we were to go to the track for a day, we would know what car we would take if given the choice of a RX-7 or a GT-T/GTS-T...aren't the 20B's like a huge step above the 13B's??
