it's a good deal Charles, i don't think i ever got that cheap with my GTT and that was with a squeaky clean record, in a non-risk area, limited km use AND locked garage, behind electric gate etc etc. So $1600, with Shannons pay by the month.... no brainer.

sorry, i was implying with E85 he/she would walk it in with the more common 260 cams and on a build that can take 24psi'ish

i've got 2530's, which are almost identical, and with baby cams still managed 400rwkw with E85, only 21psi as well - most people run 260 cams, and prob more around 24psi is the pistons/everything else can take it, you'll walk in the 400 with -5's

thanks for the offer mate but Racepace sorted me out Shit Ash! 1db off!! fark, i reckon you could prob find some places that would just pass it if it was that close... that's crazy. Might ask them if i can perhaps do a back to back with my current setup.... but, i do love my titanium exhaust...sooo pretty anyways, defect cleared. Vicroads were cool about it, nothing was even on file! so they couldn't even really clear it but set something up in the system to get it sorted. Guy down there knew his cars, had a good chat... he was NOT impressed with the VicPol or vicroads call centre when i explained the situation. "Bunch of nufties" i think was the expression in other news, followed a GT3RS home tonight, fark me they're loud! Not a snowballs chance in hell it's under 90db. I'd love to get all the AMG's, M cars, HSV's, FPV's, Porkas, Lambos, Ferraris, Astons, Maseratis etc and sound test them all, surely most would be over 90db... wonder how hard it would be to get the rules changed...

how thick is this sheet of metal? and i take it it's just a cut to the flange shape? almost thinking f this, i'm going to try for a technicality for having the location noted wrong on the notice... what a friggen hassle...

vicroads call centre fail need exhaust test piece of paper. They can clear it with that. Do stock GTR exhausts fail the tests?

there have been a few technical difficulties i hope to have them resolved asap

and if you do it all, don't get GTR rims as they are way too small for GTR sized guards

i thought that's what the copper was doing! this dodgy privateer person parks half way down a hill (which i'm sure is against some rule) and a copper has full lights blazing parking just a little back from it in the left lane. i was thinking, cool until 2 minutes later he was in my rear view mirror having done prob 100km/hr+ to catch up to pull me over for things that weren't even wrong... hero to zero

well after 45mins on hold, Vicroads can clear it. Said that if it's a vicroads/vic pol defect notice, they have the ability to clear the defect. THey said most likely just get me to start it up to have a listen and that's about it. just going to go down and try my luck

ok, i'll let you know of the findings.
