  1. hahahah, nice.. to the OP, i'd be happy to lend a hand if you want to bring it round - i can try and polish it out for ya... but i disagree with the others though, that looks like a paint job IMO, very hard to tell from the pics though. by the way, i've got all the necessary tools for the job. Trust me, that sort of scratch will go no where by hand
  2. shit dude, that's a bit of a rip, i remember paying $600 for a set of 6 waaaay back in the day for my GTT - they were cheaper than OEM coilpacks from Nissan and surely the price is a bit more competitive now
  3. interested in RB26 applications now Stao how about an electrical spool, variable vane, twin low mount turbo application for the RB26!
  4. far out people, we have no idea what happened - the end result is that a shite load of man hours at Maranello have pretty much gone down the toilet. i reckon it could be fixed though, think how strong they make the chasis of these cars (ones that are capable of silly speeds and g's), if nothing is bent, surely they could replace panels, headlights, and some front suspension components. shame though, such a stunning car - saw one in Ripponggi (sp) hills in Tokyo, so fat
  5. go a RIPS 30, Robbie builds some f*cken off tap engines
  6. wait, i think it comes with ilife anyway, i do remember using the install dvd that came with it, and it's got all the itunes/imovie/iphoto/garage band stuff on it, so i think iLife is already loaded
  7. i think i have Office for mac here at home, I've literally only used it for 10mins - put lightroom on and changed the background, that's it. So i haven't gone a big run of software install yet. EDIT: I've got an older Office (2004) but i also found iLife 11 - having said that, we're talking about software here, i'm sure i can loaded it up with whatever you want
  8. from memory, the Nismo one is not as short as the C's, IIRC Nismo = 15% short, and C's = 30% - wouldn't quote me on that though anyone tried one with a getrag 6? - i miss the RB25 box in comparison to the getrag
  9. I'm selling my MacBook Air that i used for all of 10mins - got it late last year, turned it on and put Lightroom on it and decided the next day i'd get a MacBook Pro - It's the 11" version, but i upgraded the hard-drive to the 128gb SSD - VERY fast drive, very quick boot-up etc Screen is fantastic, easily better than the MacBook Pro It is insanely light and thin, really is an amazingly portable laptop. SSD as well is a nice bonus. i think i paid $1449 for it (just checked, $1449 with the upgraded SSD), but happy to let it go for $1200 - it is as good as brand new, still has all the original packaging, plastics etc. It's literally been used for about 10mins (hence the background change) Will go to ebay soon, but trying my luck here as there are no selling fees
  10. need a GTR front bumper? go z-tune
  11. add me to the list (same as above)
  12. http://www.chequeredtuning.com/new/ they've had a name change, but that's Trent
  13. it's actually a good article, someone has actually bothered to do a bit of homework. i'm having absolutely zero luck posting a comment though - keeps saying i've got the incorrect security code no matter how many times i try and what iteration of the code i use
  14. yeah, that was Matt, and they didn't come like that from Rays unfortunately, well, i'm 99% sure they didn't. i mean, you can spray a set yourself to look exactly the same, but if you can get the factory to do it.... why not
  15. yeah, unless you point the damage out to them - don't go CEVA they don't take photos either
  16. wait let me get this straight.... I realise, as above, you can custom colour order TE37's. I was under the impression though, from a couple of sources, that you CANNOT order LMGT4's in the Rays matte/satin black colour as technically they're a 'Nismo' rim and Nismo says no. So to be clear, you can order a FACTORY matte/satin black set of LMGT4's??
  17. hahah, if i have bought my Nur only a few months ago ..... hmmm..... hmmmm......
  18. Powerplay imports, you also have C-Red in WA or whatever they're called now, as the East Bear distributor also got some help from Import Monster bring your wallet.......... actually, bring a couple
  19. meggala!!!!!! blast from the m..f.. past!!!! how are you!? you had some nice cars, you had a SR20DET R32 as well didn't ya? you were one of the original importers from memory, way back in the day, one of the few good sources of info! yeah, the GTT acquisition was a while ago, i do miss it lots of fond memories of that car.... Midori definitely seem to know their stuff, their R34 time attack car definitely mixed it (and at times beat) the big boys, and there's definitely some cool things going on (especially the suspension work) Unfortunately the driver skill level isn't quite up to the cars ability, hopefully one day i thought someone had signed up with a very similar username, didn't think it would have been the original! welcome back! thanks for the kind words though, much appreciated
  20. if the mods could leave this until tonight, that would be much appreciated got 2 x tickets to Lupe Fiasco tonight at the Palace, paid $140+ for them, but someone can have them for $100 or $50 each - general admin prob best to organise via mobile, 0'4;0\2 8+5/3 8."1-3 (just use the numbers) cheers
  21. what a nutter - did he clip a few cars in the tighter sections? looks like a few knocks at some stage - it could have ended so badly at some many times.... me thinks the person was late for his/her job at NQR
  22. does it make a difference? a whole heap of Jap brand name performance stuff would be made in china
  23. thanks for the comments - it's been interesting to see the reaction the car gets out on the road, and when parked, etc. people will take pictures and walk across the street/road to have a good look. The best reaction though is from little kids, i'm amazed that some single digit aged kids know what it is - some just see some low thing, with black wheels and a big spoiler and go 'wohh....' well, i spent a lot of money on the GTT to be able to handle a spirited drive, whilst i wasn't really like that on the road, i certainly had fun at the track. The new owner has just switched to E85 and enjoying it of course His tuner has checked it out and of course, Trent's tunes are on the money i know the engine will be able to handle the new owner, time will tell if everything else will hold up, especially if it's being drifted
  24. firstly, mucho apologies for the delayed response to the thread, i've been away and had quite a few things to take care of since i've been back the front lip at this stage is not for sale (to anyone) i'm sorry to say, will let people know if anything changes. i will reply to PM's now
