  1. given Daz isn't on here much.. Festool Rotex150 - great piece of kit (i actually borrowed Daz's festool of him to finish my car with the recent detail) ~$800, rough price. It's a forced rotation machine so a bit more tricky. I would highly recommend the Bosch GEX150T, arugably the same running gear as the Festool but about half the price. Should be getting one this week sometime.
  2. killer job Daz! Great gloss from the silver! Surprised it only need FF on black... had to hit mine with IP on Orange, followed by FF on black and i try and keep good care of the paint Seal is a fantasic product, i've got 3 layers on at the moment. I'll most likely be down at the RE night if anyone wants to see in the flesh in case Nick's car isn't there. You got much Menz left? Damian's got CAP medium out now and ultra fine is coming soon, meant to be better than Menz.
  3. Trent @ Chequered Tuning "may" be able to help www.chequeredtuning.com.au - that's just a wild guess. google will help if that fails.

  6. hahahahah wtf? this is weird... a friend of mine also mentioned he saw your pics on flickr, just randomly as well...
  7. ^ yes, listen to the man, he took the awesome shots of my car on the previous page.
  8. i didn't take the pics, other people did. You can see the obvious difference in quality between mine (detail pics) and all the other bling looking ones only pics i took are the detailing ones and the interior shots. That's it. All other pics come from friends and it's up to them what they do with the number plates. I was kinda under the impression it doesn't actually matter if they're blurred or not? and thanks again for all the comments, much appreciated re: cop attention - nope, but that's a function of a few things. Quiet exhaust, very clean car, no atmo BOV, no chrome, sensible driving and not living in an area with an import problem. I think i've been pulled over about 3-4 times in this car, and that's after 4+ years of road time (technically owned it longer)
  9. more a point to say it's versatile enough to handle to the two fuels, etc... i've got the USB consult cable, but don't have a laptop. If i did, i'd put NIstune on it and load the two maps. But there is an E85 outlet 5mins from my place, and for a car that's barely driven, i don't have the to switch constantly. i guess to answer your question, yes you could easily switch between the two with a laptop and Nistune (still have to drain the tank first though).
  10. went on a cruise last night, a some pics were taken. Turned out pretty good, not as good as Tharaka's though

  25. Hey northerners just seeing who's had any experience sending a bumper down south to mexico? (or any eastern state i guess) at the moment a $120 figure is being thrown around and it seems a bit high to me to be honest. I was thinking perhaps $60-$80 to send a bumper? the $120 could be about right, but just wanted to see if anyone has undergone the exercise and would share would they had to fork out cheers, daniel
