drift filters will work fine nulon is technically not a full synth... not the worst oil, but you would have to change it a little more frequently than a full synth

i think it has many uses... it's in my power steering fluid bottle at the moment -
AFAIK, Singapore (being singapore) got their shit together and now supply their own water. They aren't pussy's and drink recycled water (like we all should) and built a whole bunch of other stuff as well.

it's not the Nismo option kit, It's the 'sports' option kit made by Altia. The Nismo kit is very rare and looks different, but very nice though.

ha ha tee hee as the vehicle is up for sale at the moment it is pretty much living it's remaining days under my ownership in the garage. It's being cleaned, fussed over and polished, but not really driven. I've been down the GOR once with the 34, actually stayed at skene's creek (the place up the hills in the trees) - some amazing roads that's for sure... too bad when i went down some of the worst storms in many year passed through the area and Vic (april '08 i think, lots of power outages all across melb and down that way as well) - candles and fireplace were needed at the accomm. Car loved it down there though, ate it up. Grant, great to hear it was a simple fix. Told you you took it to the right place

yep, my .63 rear (or near enough, probably a little small, OP6) makes 290rwkw on E85 (740cc injectors) Hamish, your rear housing is a smiliar sized judging on the boost curve, and it makes oodles or power as well. don't know the exact specs of the gt3040 though...

hahahahah, so we'll now be cruising the twisties with driving gloves, helmets and mouth guards.... and to be extra safe, make sure you're ready for the 'duct tape death match' as well, hands won't ever come off then and helmet of choice but yeah, something like suede on leather would probably be pretty grippy
-
it'll be in very good hands. Smart move 2.8 stroker, t51r, v cam will probably need to be installed at the same time i think.... you know.... just to make sure everything is ok sorry to hear about the breakdown though... especially given the location! Major kudos to Jack and crew for organising the pick-up though! sooo many people helping out too... very cool

be surprised what you can find on youtube. if you come up with a list of some you're looking at, hit up the tube and you might get lucky. i know one guy has recorded a whole bunch of different brand name jap titanium exhausts notes (including acceleration videos), quite handy...

His name sounds good in your ear, but when you say it, you mustn't fear! 'Cause his name can be said by anyone! do you like Thai? i like Thai, you like shirt? great episode.... ahhh.... carry on

Headlight Restoration Guys
SS8_Gohan replied to cr4ig0's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
don't worry mate, cars in Melbourne now... you've got the best of the best available to you. Damian @ Final Inspection. This comes up a lot, and it's (generally) a misconception that you need to pull the headlights apart and clean the insides. The $150 price guy most likely knows this as very few lights will be needing that treatment. Best thing is just to get the car professionally detailed, and ask the detailer to hit-up the headlights at the same time. You can use those cheap fixes like plastix or whatever, but that will last a few months. What you REALLY need to do is get a machine polisher, RO, Forced Rotation, Rotary... whatever, and use paint polish. Something fairly aggressive (polish) like Menzerna IP (Intensive Polish) or 203s and a medium cutting pad. Mask up around the headlights and away you go. I had my headlights done about 2 years ago, people still ask me how i get them so clear. Do it properly once, keep some wax/sealant on there if you want as maintenance, and you won't have to be going back every couple months with some cheapo $15 product from autobarn. Your best bet is just get a full car detail if it needs one, and the headlights will be included in that. -

hahaha, you rang? very partial to TV2 though.. -
if a $4k HKS kit of very similar size can't hold boost flat to redline, what exactly are you expecting from a similar sized highflow unit at a quarter of the cost???????? .63 does NOT hold boost to redline. Simple as that, end of story. And that is by no means a slight on Stao's turbo's, they're great units. But ANY manufacturer, or similar specs, will get very similar boost curves. I don't see what the problem is really. Go out and buy a HKS 2835 ProS (or more like a GTRS which is comparable to most of the highflows we'd be buying) if you really want to try something different... it'll be pretty much the same story.
