  1. ok, thanks to Brett, i got a good map for tomorrow, just wondering if there are perhaps any good spots to have a bite to eat or stop and have a gander? i take it all the roads will be sealed yes?
  2. for those that got the pedals off yahoo, how much delivered did they cost? (roughly)
  3. unfortunately, SK is no longer with us on these boards, so if you dig up old threads with stuff he's written, that's the best you're going to get. don't know anything about poncams, but maybe try the RB25 turbo upgrage results thread, and search in there, see what other people are running, and what their graphs look like. good luck
  4. ah.. forgot about that site mate!! thanks for that. I've asked them questions before, which they've answered. So i should be able to find out if any parts are shared muchos gracias
  5. can this be checked in Nissan FAST at all? or whatever that program is?
  6. "Rookie Rallye winners score a free entry into the full Targa for 2010" now that's cool!! and why the hell is Rally kept being spelt Rallye??
  7. teh GTR can nevah lose!! Awesome work! And i reckon sewid at gtrblog.com should keep us updated on your progress as well as the 35's. Congratulations
  8. should be in
  9. my exhaust is very quiet but will definitely keep that in mind when i get time, i'll make another google map and add Black Spur in and see what you guys think of the revised route, and if you recommend any other roads cheers, daniel
  10. after some twisties and heard a lot about Black Spur, etc... plus the g/f and i love tree's/forests etc... i know a lot has been burnt, but hopefully still a nice drive
  11. the 500k's is kinda arbitrary... i definitely want to fit Black Spur if i can what about doing the loop you have to mansfield, but then coming back via Alexandra, Marysville and Healsville? Instead of taking the highway back, maybe get some twisties on the way home as well?

^ yep, hoping a switch to Lightweight will help with my 5th gear synchro issues
  13. Hi guys, the rear seal on my power steering pump has gone, slow leak. Just looking to replace it but want to know if the power steering pump for an R34 is the same as any other Skyline/Stagea/Nissan? I'd take it turbo/non-turbo wouldn't make a difference, but not sure if 32/33/34/Stagea (or any other Nissan) share the same pump. If they do, it'll help me widen my search for wrecks, etc cheers, daniel
  14. liking the idea already
  15. i think my girlfriend had that... definitely a pork dish, her's was stunning also. just checked the pic, definitely had that. Incredible... Well dinner vs dinner at Ezard/Bistro Vue was practically the same for us, but yeah, Bistro was a little cheaper, but i wouldn't say by a whole lot. Maybe mid 30's mains compared to low 40's at Ezard. I wouldn't classify either as cheap, and would only classify Bistro Vue as cheap in relation to Vue De Monde to me, anything at Crown is either overpriced or overrated.
  16. i've had what i still think is the best dish (main) i've ever had at Ezard. Barramundi, with either a light green or red curry sauce. Obviously, not just those two thing but that was the very basic gist of it... outstanding. Then i had the best steak ever at Bistro Vue (wagyu eye fillet, or rib eye, can't remember) with their own truffle mustard... incredible. Bistro Vue and Ezard are similar prices and would be hard to split, but i'd say perhaps Ezard and be sure to get a bottle of the rosemary/garlic/parmesan infused olive oil as well, $30 but so worth it.
  17. so the only downside to these is that to fit them requires a lot more modification? hmmm... change turbo's... again or just got to E85... 300rwkw, full boost at 3000rpm, at 17psi.... heaven. oh wait, that is a RB30DET... so it would be at least say 3500rpm full boost for RB25... hmmm...
  18. Hi guys, i'm also done getting my R34 Xenon headlights back to OEM, will OEM/kit hyrbid. I've removed the H1 base plate so it fits a D2R globe now. I've got some D2R globes, i've got some D2r harness's and planning on using the existing Kaixen HID kit ballasts... problem is the connectors don't match and i need these... KET-B to AMP connectors, and i need them fast, preferably in OZ. $35 USD seems a little steep on ebay for some wires, and i need them by next monday, not sure they'd arrive in time - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-adapter...p4506.m20.l1116 I'll have to splice and dice if i can't find these connectors, but i'd have to get help with that because i don't have the skillz. If this works, i can make a write up on how to revert back to OEM cheers, daniel
  19. what are you tuning WITH?
  20. thanks for the tips guys! Just going to be the one trip now i think, unfortunately my left headlight blew, which was a Xenon kit globe. I'm hoping it's just the globe, not the ballast. I've got the fix that as i don't want to be driving around in the country, in these grey conditions, without headlights, especially if we're not back in the metro area before dark. So it's next Monday we're going for the drive, so got some time to plan it now. Worped, i'm liking that trip mate. I'm pretty much set on that part of Vic. I've never really driven in the yarra ranges area before so i think i'll go that way over A Bay/GOR, etc... as nice a drive as those are. Is Black Spur anywhere near a route i might be able to take that way? Heard so much about that road, but never driven it.
  21. can be split into 2 trips maybe as well. Have some time tomorrow arvo but hall all day Monday free.
  22. Hi guys'n'gals just chucked ANOTHER new turbo on and again, need to run it in. Don't have that long before i'm booked for a full tune because i wanted to get this new one up and running asap, but i gotta put some k's on it (not BB). Looking to get about 500k's on it before the tune and looks like Monday i'm heading out wherever for the day with the g/f. Just using google maps to draw random routes wherever, like this... http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&sou...e=UTF8&z=11 But don't really know the good roads etc. I guess anywhere within a 200-250km radius of melbourne is fine. Obviously that includes places like Apollo Bay, etc... but there is going to be some nasty weather the next few days and the last i was down there (last april which funnily enough have MASSIVE storms too) there was sooo much shit on the road (branches, etc) i cracked my front splitter because of all the debris, despite driving on both sides of the road to avoid stuff. I reckon it will be the same on Monday because Sunday is going to have 60km/hr+ winds. So i was thinking more east because we've never really explored that way, and the roads look pretty nice and twisty up around the Healesville area, but i don't know what the deal is after the bushfires. The other thing about heading that way is that it looks like we could do more multiple stops to check things out, rather than go to A Bay, and that's it. So yeah, where shall i drive given that 200-250km radius around Melbourne? cheers, chinny

^ dude you got hookups?? i got yearlies from this dude at uni for $300! Full fare, worth like $1000+ - i don't know where he got them from, or how... but i didn't care, they worked. I miss that hook-up... 90+ for VCE = working your ass off?? i think not... this is VCE we're talking about... IB perhaps, but VCE IMO does not require copious amounts of study to get 90+ either way, she can confidently say she's in the top 10% of VCE students in the state for her year, a good effort.
  24. does your car have a different fuel rail?
