  1. stock vs stock, i don't think there is a comparison. The R35 just has so much more presence IMO The R34 stock is starting to look a little dated... but still a great looking car. Don't know whether to upgrade, or just wait some years and jump straight into the 35 problem is, will probably be a lot of years
  2. 200 yes, 230 definitely not. a stock response high flow will be 220-230rwkw, but unlike the stock turbo, it won't crack it at you if you want to run 15psi
  3. how you planning on tuning it at the moment? i see where you're coming from, but i don't see the need to go so big when you only want 200-230rwkw. Why not get that figure in the most responsive way?
  4. what's the ballpark figure you're looking at with Racepace's suspension kit?
  5. if you only want 220-230rwkw... i had a hypergear, that's been changed for another hypergear. G2 profile, 71 compressor wheel. It's was a special one-off that Stao made, it was mid 220'srwkw (with some other car issues) with stock turbo response. I reckon those specs in an OP6 rear will be exactly what you're after. I've just switched to a G3, 76 compressor wheel with the OP6 rear housing, and i'm not expecting stock response at all, but hoping for 260'ish. The first hypergear i had sounds like what you're after, but i think the G3/76 might be a bit big for what you want.
  6. sorry, ebay link was kinda easy to miss up there... the eBay link http://shop.ebay.com.au/merchant/dchin_mayer83
  7. ooo, yeah, if someone knows how, please share
  8. man, Zele have such cool cars. If you're hunting for a shmick R34 GTR, you reckon it's worth spending the extra $$ with a mob like Zele?
  9. i've had a korean made kit in mine for about 3 years, and i run my lights whenever i'm driving. Kaixen, they're a top brand for HID, i think a trader on these forums sells them. If you don't want to splash for Phillips or Bosch, i'd recommend Kaixen. Same tech as Phillips
  10. ohhhh kkkkkkk.... we've stayed at Skene's Creek hotel once, really nice, it's a bunch of cabins nestled up in the hill amongst the tree's, which is exactly what we're after. Amongst the trees but with ocean views. not sure how central you want to be, but we really liked our stay at Skene's Creek hotel/lodge, something-a-rather
  11. Hey everyone, doing a big ebay run at the moment. Got a few things up, but plenty more to come. Mostly shirts, and some pants/jeans. Shirts are a mix of Marcs, Saba, Rhodes & Beckett, etc... Jeans/pants are mainly CK/Roy. I'll also endeavour to get even MORE items up. All quality pieces, no crap. http://shop.ebay.com.au/merchant/dchin_mayer83 and example of what's for offer... Roy Denim Jacket, RRP $250-$300 (can't remember) - trust me, this is going silly cheap and it's from the days Roy really made their name. They don't make these sort of pieces anymore, shame really... As i said, a lot more to come, but the next batch will be shirts some more jeans/pants, again, all quality items. good luck!
  12. i can't imagine they'd be much $$, check the for sale section, i reckon you could pick one up for cheap-as-chups - people probably don't even think about selling them
  13. no idea mate, do you still have your stock BOV?
  14. BOV's have caused many a problem in the past, and will continue to do so. At least whilst you're trying to figure it out, it's one extra thing to tick off the list. Get rid of the BOV and put a stock one back on
  15. dut dut dut dut, so it's it like suuu tututututu? hahaha? i believe that's compressor surge sound, not nice. no need for the BOV anyway, ditch it. for your power levels, and most people's, it's useless.
  16. ok, digging this up because i'm wondering if we still know anyone who works there? i've finally reached that magical 25 barrier where suddenly i've become the worlds best driver - and my friggen policy went up nearly $400! do we know anyone who i could have a chat to? Is this Nick person still there?
  17. guys, disregard those pictures, it's an LED mod, not going to be a good indication for what the OEM ones do.. i'd say it only works as intended... fog light....
  18. no worries Aaron is a gun. He's saved me a bunch of money bringing stuff in from japan, sending body kits interstate, circumventing "official" dealers but always good to know interstate couriers, handy for when you're selling big items. Haven't heard of this mob, so thanks for the info
  19. regarding colour of the oil, this also depends on the cleaner additives in the oil, as they're picking up the crap so to speak, making the coil appear darker... i think 10K changes are fine for what you describe. But i'd still go with a full synth at those intervals. If you don't know what's in there maybe do a quick change with a semi-synth, like castrol edge, and then dump that have a couple thousand and switch to a full synth for your 10K changes.
  20. Final Inspection's new sealant, called "Seal" is very impressive, i think everyone i know who's used it has preferred it over Zaino Z2Pro.
  21. going to reply saying if you open one in the east side, you'll be laughing! will definitely let them know about the large enthusiast community that is keen on this fuel, local and import cars.
  22. could see if Aaron could help out. Rampant Parts or Rampant Imports, can't remember the website, something like www.rampant.net.au or maybe just www.rampant.net
  23. whaa???? $50 each?
  24. what's the current plan?
