  1. Hi guys'n'gals not really Skyline related, but there's lot of tech/it type people around these parts... and asians so i figured there would be some mobile knowledge my Sony Ericsson T30? (the pearl white one) went for a swim (in the kitchen sink) about a month ago and all i want to do is get my numbers/contacts off the phone. My sim is currently in another phone and i've only now realised that after the sim gets full (bout 220 entries i think) the numbers are then saved on the phone so most of my numbers in seems are on the Sony Ericsson. I've tried turning it on, and it seems to work, but the screen is like a washed out white and i can't see sh*t, so i can't read the numbers and write them down manually. Does anyone know how to retrieve this info? Or a place i could take it to? the phone seems to still work, just that the screen is farked. The phone does have bluetooth, not sure if that is of any help in this situation. cheers chinny
  2. any... ah... guest 'car' appearances? of the red variety?
  3. must be some newies in the last few days. black on black is always best not biased at all...
  4. ^ head to the GTR section of the forums, been covered heaps. check carsales, you buy 2 right now if you want
  5. how do you guys know it's on the inside? if you're just referring to yellowing, try polishing the outside first before cranking the oven up
  6. when SAU Vic has Final Inspection as a sponsor, why would even consider taking your car anywhere else? Glaze = fillers, which equals... pretty much useless. Have fun watching the swirls come back after every wash. Want a proper job? Final Inspection. For the quality of work Damian and the boys do, their prices are silly cheap. You don't get anything but THE BEST products and equipment touching the car, and it's FULL paint correction. None of this filling in the scratches stuff.
  7. oh, right, thought it was a GTR and matt, the other night brings to mind a famous quote... "damn street racers"
  8. the movie was happyness, but i believe you can use both variations?? maybe a yank/ye old english variation
  9. Congrats Jeff!!! First things first, straight to Final Inspection for a detail and some protection. Pete, make sure the car gets to Final Inspection for some loving... too much euro action happening over there Where will you go for servicing Jeff?? Careful you don't drive too close to any Nissan stealerships, you might find bullet holes in the side of your car. Nice work with the head office photoshoot though
  10. targa: that is f*cken gold mate!!!! haahahhaa, did it cause any sort of ruckus? should have done a few "victory" laps of the place nice work mate, nice work
  11. most blatant "subtle" plug ever...
  12. people might not be 'jumping at the chance' as much because we have FI in town, we have been "informed" if you said, "i need a car for the Menzerna stand..." it would be hands up from me! and pictures of the 1000hp 34!! anodized purple?? need to see this!
  13. yes, lets close the thread with a recommendation of a 10w oil Redline seems to be the priciest, so that would be the money is no object one. Also a group 5 based oil
  14. ahh... Photoshop, you guys haven't heard of it???
  15. the gloss you achieve is just insane mate, but i thought you were using a Dodo wax? NISMO: nice products, Zaino to make "some" great products. Is your black metallic or jet black? IMO switch the Z-CS out for Z2pro, and maintain with Z8
  16. last time i was there they said they would be going to clayton, but i can't remember if there were going to be 2 premises? nothing was mentioned about changing hands, although, i could def see the possibility of that happening.
  17. so who's doing the practice day and who's just doing the timed day? or who's doing both?
  18. Race Brakes = verging on the IMO, and other marque owners have commented the same to me as well +1 for Traction Tyres, been there a few times. Prices are very reasonable for the work. A good mate of mine is the manager of Midas on Nepean Hwy (gardenvale/brighton) He's done a lot of work on my car and def knows his way around Skylines. He's a kiwi and worked on a lot of jap imports when he was back home. No bullshit, good work. Mention dan with the black 34 referred ya, oh and his name is Dan too
  19. what was involved in your 100K service beside the 2 dead AFM's?
  20. you bought burberry pants?????!!??? how many kidneys did you have to sell to the yakuza to buy those?
  21. engo, try Redline Lightweight Shockproof dori32, stop smocking crack, get a 0w or 5w oil. Piss off the penrite, elf i don't know about. I believe they do have some grp4 and higher oils. Let's all make this simple. Go here... www.performancelub.com if you don't want to splash for Redline, get Royal Purple, German Castrol (Castrol Syntec) 0w30 (other weights "may" be made from grpIII and made in the U.S.) or Mobil 1. If not those, get some Motul 300V i think is grp4 and the one cubes uses 8100 or whatever, i believe is about one of the cheapest grp4's. Check the thread, it's all there. Motul can be found locally off the shelf.
  22. cool. How does it work with $$ though? Does the $140 (or whatever it will be) cover the practice day and sunday timed day? Or is $140 each day?
  23. my 34 takes 5 and a bit litres of engine oil, not sure where you're getting 3.7 from?? does anyone know whats a good & recommended fully synthetic oil for a neo rb25de ? have you read anything in here??
  24. one place did mention to me that the Skylines have very little rear bias anyway, which could explain it... but i have no idea about the veracity of such a claim... the bias valve maybe a good place to start
  25. straight to Final Inspection mate for a detail
