  1. Me too. soo...tired..
  2. I will have blue triangles for everyone. That extinguisher mount looks ok. If you pull it in any direction does it move or come out? Thanks Shaun. Wil - doubt a cold change. Everyone, particularly the flaggies, don't forget a hat, sunnies and suncream. Important. Maybe a big bottle of water too. Jon - you know what to do... hehe.. be there.
  3. Those getting the daily licence, no problems. You pay your $40 on the day. He was referring to people who have applied for thier full L2S licence but not got it in the mail yet. These people need to ring CAMS and get them to fax you something to prove you have one. If you don't have a fax number use mine. 9237 0814 but make sure you ring me to let me know you have done this or I wont check it. 0421 301 061 Adam.
  4. Yeah there are a few people not on the list. I only sent through my list as it was last night. We will probably get further confirmation tonight.
  5. Well I'm in red and so is Oz so it must be fastest. They group people according to experience and lap times so no stress guys. If you turn out to be obviously outgunned they will change your group.
  6. Far out there's a lot of birthdays about now. Do your parents only have sex during school holidays?
  7. Damn and I wasn't going to wash my car. I guess I will have to now. You take awesome photos.
  8. I don't think there will be any passenger riding. In other news though, there will be a familiarisation session at the start of the day. Newbies will go out in their own cars with an instructor (me or Oz or one of the more experienced people) for a few 120 km/h laps. Also I just got this email and attachements. Please also note your group. If you do not see a group next to your name, it is because you have not submitted your entry form yet. Please try to do so, before Sunday. Attached is a bulletin amending the Supplementary Regulations to now include a familiarisation session for first time drivers. This session will be the first on track session. Entrants are reminded of the schedule for the day, as per the Supplementary Regulations. Pre-event scrutineering: 7.15am-8.45am Driver’s Briefing: 9.00am Event Schedule: 9.30am-5.00pm Entrants are asked to get to the track at 7.00am or as close to as possible, so that the pre-event formalities can go smoothly and be completed on time. As soon as possible after arriving at the track, entrants are asked to attend the Event Secretary’s office (located in the base of the control tower) to sign in. Please have your CAMS licence and club membership card with you. You should be able to collect your timing transponder at this time. You will also be given a scrutineering sheet. Please then proceed with it, and your car, to the scrutineering shed. Attached is a scrutineering guide and a driver’s briefing guide. Please read them so you can be informed. For those unfamiliar with Eastern Creek, attached is a small sketch showing the layout and important locations. See you on the day, Craig Hamilton – Event Secretary. 9. Yup 8:30 please. There will only be one entrance open. The one near the WSID entrance. Ando - don't bag the NEO! Oz, maybe last session. Play it by ear. Apparently RENEW spectated a day with many more cars than we have entered and I'm told "you could have fired a cannon down the straight late in the day and hit no one". I said it would never happen while the love boat, the madman in his GTR and me were there. Let's just see what happens.
  10. Pro Concept are in West Ryde but likewise I don't think you should decide on a rebuild based on how far from home the place is. I sent my engine to proengines near Canberra and was very happy with both the service and the quality. I checked DART out but found that they will build an engine to their own specs and didn't seem at all interested in my point of view. Since it was my engine I thought my point of view was important. That said, any place you care to mention or is recommended to you will have at least someone who doesn't like them for whatever reason so take mine and everyone elses opinions on board but don't forget that you need to do the research yourself in the end, just like rest of us did. Ring some places up and ask them questions. Spend the next week reading as much as you can on the forum about your engine so you can understand what they are telling you. Oh and regarding your heading, DART are not cheap. Then again, neither are GTR's. We can put you onto cheap and bodgy but is that what you really want?
  11. Don't meatball me please.
  12. We don't have numbers yet cos some people haven't put in their entry forms. Spectating is free. Numbers will be between 101 and 130. I don't know who gets what number yet though. I will find out soon. I have the blue triangles for everyone. Make sure you get a fire extinguisher and bleed your brakes.
  13. Apart from the good places in Melbourne aspect of your question, all this info is in this section of the forum and fairly recently posted too. I have done the conversion recently and posted up many details.
  14. Ok. Stevo. I read it like you nad even confirmed it I thought. No matter, it appears we know what's going on now. Yes Mark, as long as it gets out of the panel shop and Fatz provides the blinkers. It's a beast. Wil/Amanda, ok. Get your entry form faxed off. Nothing is too slow. Remember there will be a few atmo rotors there in full original 70's trim. 4 doors FTW! Probably a couple of flaggies short at this stage.
  15. I was talking to someone who has twin turbo'd his V35 and not surprisingly the stock clutch is barely holding on. What fits? Are Zed ones the same? Where you get em?
  16. That would be great but I don't have that meany gears you inconsiderate tosser.
  17. I thought this thread was about converting pull to push but aren't you talking about the other way round Steve?
  18. Brake lines then I guess. As the heat gets into the system from the heavier braking the lines axpand and flex a little. I think with brakes you almost automatically bleed them if you have problems because that eliminates the cheapest issue.
  19. woohoo, we are starting to get cranking! Do your best hanyou.
