I just wanted to post somewhere in here that I have now had the opportunity to use the "race" pads that Just Jap sell for the G4's. I have standard rear brakes with BEndix Ultimates in there and find that not only is there no bias issues, I have fixed a bias issue that I believe the car has from factory. I was regularly cooking rear rotors and pads before but now it all runs fine. Lap times are down and the car stops amazingly. I was regularly braking far too early due to being used to the standard setup. With the addition of good tyres and these brakes I knocked 3 seconds off my previous pb at Wakie.

I don't see why they wouldn't. I'm sorry I'm not much help but if you pm me you can come over and measure mine up to compare to yours.

You can't brag about sway bars like you can about turbos and power but bang for buck has to be one of the best mods you can do.

Interstingly, did anyone here about that guy doing 170 on windsor rd and killed two women the other day?

It's good to share. I remember back in the day... (this is the part where you all tune out)... I blew the gearbox then the turbo then the engine all in a fairly short space of time. It stings but afterwards makes you so happy when it's running right. Those GT-SS's are so responsive, they make a GTR seem almost N/A. You should love 'em.

Yeah it was 4-5 in the end but that was just to cover the hire and insurance costs, nothing towards the capital purchases we were making. There is still an event per month to go this year and the Texikhana theme is not dead.

RB25 and RB26 cranks are pretty much the same. The rods are the same length too. I think it's the pin height in the RB26 pistons that gives the extra displacement and lower CR.

His turbo is already ball bearing. Yes you can send yours to GCG in Sydney to high flow. I have one. Yes it's cheaper if you can find a blown turbo to send them then sell yours in good condition. I just blew mine so the choice was obvious.

Sounds like an air leak. Check all hoses and connections. Sometimes a hose will split on the underside due to age and you can't see it.

It's looking very much like this will be the last Texikhana at the Sutton Road complex. Worse than that, after MASSIVE interest early, only 20 people have stumped up the cash for the current event so unless we get 6 more entrants by friday morning, IT WILL BE CANCELLED! We have plans for other, more local, Texi styled events next year however none will include the famed back track of Sutton Road. We plan the event around 40 entrants so at 26, if we get them, you will get plenty of goes. If it goes ahead this will be your last chance. If it doesn't, we've already missed the boat. Using RB26 pistons will definitely affect the CR. What size bores will you be using?

I used to add a bottle of octane booster on track days. Not for extra power but for reduced chance of detonation. These days I fill the tank and two jerry cans with Shell VPower Racing for the same reason. I add no timing or boost although it could probably take an extra 2 degrees.

How bad is division 5? I'm 198cm and looking for a game but I don't want to play with footballers if you know what I mean.

You might want to check that with WSID mate. I am speaking from experience here. AFAIK they don't allow you to run faster than 11.0 at private hires. That wont stop Guilttoy cos he only wants to run 1.
