    Haha. Another vote for the synthetic. I got mine in K-Mart and it works fine. We are currently looking at getting some Skylines Australia Chamois made up for sale to the forum and club members.

    Yeah I don't think the original ecu was ever stuffed from that story. I think something to do with the injector, perhaps blocked, faulty wiring connection to it, etc. Cylinder ran lean - bang.

    Not a bad list there. Should be able to get 1 and 7 a little cheaper than that. Don't forget labour if you are not doing it yourself.

    There's one or two in every state. Someone will know your one. Just put a thread in the vic section asking for the mobile thread repair guy or whatever. I have to say I dissagree with them ALWAYS causing problems, leaking etc. If you can't here it leaking (ticking sound) then don't bother.

    Well got my car back on saturday. It turned out to be some wire that was for the auto box that was shorting out and causing the timing to jump all over the place. Had occasional increases of 17 degrees!! Gotta go back to get the z32 reinstalled and a touch up tune tomorrow. I drove it down the coast with a maxed out stock afm and 1 bar of boost and it went great.

    Nice results Dangerman. What compression ratio are you running in that engine? Good luck with the auto. In my experience there is only about 15-20 rwkw difference between auto and manual. That's R34 though but the R33 boxes are basically the same.

    I think the problem is that you have too many pistons and too many conrods. It's crowded in there! No but seriously, which type poncams? Whose dyno? Dyno graph please, preferably showing boost, afr's and power. Sounds like your missing 50kw to me. Oh and do you have cam gears on there that you forgot to mention and if so what are they set to?

    So maybe you do have the same one. I thought with cams it should fairly easily get 300. What did B-Man get when he had it? I thought it was about 320. Maybe he had the 1.02/7?? can't remember exactly the size sorry.

    Just do what I did. Open the bonnet. Cut sick with the spray gun. Try not to get too much on the engine. I even did my battery and a water bottle I shoved in there for topping up the leaky radiator. Don't take them out to paint them, no one will ever know. ps, no this was not the Skyline.
