  1. Freaky. I remember putting gas a couple of old v8's I owned. The peak torque area moved UP about 1000 revs. Also I don't think unleaded takes you 30% further, LPG is something like 8-10% less efficient without making other changes to the engine, eg ecu and cams. I thought it actally burned hotter than petrol which was why one of the age old drawbacks of it was burnt out valves, particularly on engines designed to run on leaded fuel without hardened valve seats.
  2. Probably too much negative camber from lowering without fitting adjustable bits.
  3. It was on my car when I bought it but Stan has it now. Not hard to remove at all.
  4. You can see part of it here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...st&id=17818
  5. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...c=90865&hl= slightly relevant. I can' t seem to find the other 3 or 4 threads the same as this one.
  6. Umm yes I have a Nismo one.
  7. That is something you can get from Nissan dealers. If you were a club member you could get trade price at Parramatta Nissan.
  8. I hope it wasn't a large piece. God knows you don't have much to go around. Ed - you are right of course.
  9. I bought some tyres there. They are indeed the rudest bunch of people I've bought anything from. Also the wheel balancing job they did was so bad it would have been better not to have bothered. When I took them back to get rebalanced they did do it - at least it looked like they did - but the problem was still there. They were very unhappy that I asked them to do it again and blamed other things wrong with my car. I took them somewhere else, paid for them to be rebalanced again. No further problems.
  10. You don't have a transfer case if you have a GTST. Get someone who knows cars to smell it. Clutch smoke stinks, gearbox oil smoke smells bad and engine oil smoke is quite pleasant in comparison but still not that good.
  11. Isn't there an alfa with about that much power going to the front wheels?
  12. Centres are the same but the housings are different to my knowledge - that's based on what I know from the R34's.
  13. You must be bored. Please research the law in relation testing of emergency lighting and have your report on my desk by tomorrow morning.
  14. Ignore this person. He is an ass.
  15. I never heard of that machine and I think it's wrong. The codes start at 11 and go to 55 but not all numbers are in the list.
  16. The R34 box is pretty much the same inside as the R33 box but is much lighter. I can pick it up easily. It has a more raw aluminium look to the casing. The manual says that the R34 turbo box is FS5R30A. The R34 non turbo box is FS5W71C.
  17. Depends which part of the head you machine. Another couple of costs you seem to have forgotten about are a new head gasket and labour. Also with stock everything there is absolutely no point whatsoever in doing this mod. DON'T DO IT.
  18. What do you mean the "head re-done" and how much for that? Last time I checked that part of it would cost $500-600 making the total $900ish which is still cheapish but do you need it? We need more info on your setup to answer that question.
  19. Not only is the fuel over there different but it's graded differently too. Can't remember the conversions.
  20. MV Automatics in Adelaide are the best people in Australia for Jatco autos.
  21. How much? Would I fit in one? Is it easy to die in one?
