  1. Well worth swapping before compliance if the option is open to you. Once you've driven with Xenons you can't go back. It's not just a looks thing.
  2. I think about 80%. I've an R34 GTR fuel pump.
  3. Hey, I never said it was easy. :P
  4. I reckon if you wire it up to both then you will effectively be shorting the connection between the two unless you put diods in line so the signal can't go from one line to the other. I don't know that this will actually matter though since a knock is a knock no matter which sensor heard it first.
  5. Dont' forget that the boys in blue will also give you attention if you make it look dodgy. I respect your intentions but please don't put that wing on it or any other wing apart from one factory released for an R31 Skyline. I think tinting the windows would be a good idea for looks, coolness in summer and security. btw, it wasn't me that suggested you had an auto.
  6. A catch can catches the oil that would otherwise be put into your intake system and burnt along with the fuel. When it is put through this way it lowers the octane rating of your fuel mixture thus bringing you closer to detonation and engine death.
  7. How hard have you been looking? Open bonnet. Look behind light assembly for a hole in the rubber flaps. Stick you hand in there and turn the bulb holder anti-clockwise. Pull it out. Small hands are best.
  8. 1. 12psi for the street, 10 psi for the track, 13 psi a waste of time - just blowing hot air. 2. I got 162rwkw with the tiptronic. 3. That's right. Keep it until your turbo upgrade. 4. Fuel pump will take you as far as your turbo. 5. I think they are 350cc. You can between 220 and 240rwkw with an adjustable rising rate fuel regulator. Your turbo wont give you this though and it's dangerous to expect your fuel pump to. 6. Stock brakes are very good. Get DBA 4000 rotors or RDA equivalent when the stock ones wear out. Bendix Ultimate pads work well. Suspension is good stock but check the group buy section for Sydneykids R34 gear. He is an expert so trust what he says. Is yours an auto or manual? You will need a tunable ECU to take advantage of what you have there. SAFC if it's auto, PFC if it's manual.
  9. Home job respray. I think those lines are brake lines but he hasn't denied it's an auto. I remember driving a VL when I was 17 (same engine) and thinking it was amazingly powerful. Enjoy.
  10. The prices of those have come down a bit. I use one of them. I also rigged up a switch to turn it off so it's just black when not needed.
  11. Ball bearing is more expensive, spools much earlier in the rev range (lower boost threshold), longer life. Bush bearing is cheaper, higher boost threshold, shorter life.
  12. I'm using the Nismo 480's and getting 255rwkw from an auto.
  13. Oran Park Grand Prix R34 GTT 4 door auto 255rwkw Bilsteins RE55's DBA 4000's and Bendix Ultimate all round 1:24.3
  14. Whoops. Fixed.

  17. In the RB25 turbo upgrade thread.
  18. Just for a bit of non biased opinion, most people here know me, I have driven this car (HPI34T) on it's current tune. I can tell you that it is a very fun car to drive. Yes it does have a high boost threshold but I wouldn't call it laggy. It does come on like a lightswitch and that's part of what makes it so much fun. I'm not saying it's the quickest car out there, and most people know I am a hopeless drag racer, but in terms of fun factor, it's got it. He does have the rev limit raised to 8k which definitely helps because 1st and 2nd gears would be useless without the extra 1000rpm. 3rd gear is the most fun although the most likely to get you into trouble with the law of course. It's kind of like each gears burst of acceleration being a small but very tasty lolly whereas my car is more like a really tasty steak.
  19. I made a post on ausrotary but suffice to say for here that a few people were quite late in arriving.
  20. pms sent to you both.
  21. There's some really good ideas in this thread. Have you tried feeding your engine banana's instead of 98?
  22. Well I don't have a GTR but with a slightly happy dyno and rear wheel not all wheel I think that power figure is possible but I don't know about a 10.3, maybe with gas no worries.
  23. Thanks ben. 1 way diff coming up soon. Might get the power down earlier.
