  1. Anything from Slayer to Rodriguez (I love that guitar concerto), Sepultura to Architecture in Helsinki, Mudvayne to the Baggsmen, Butterfly Effect, COG, Chemical brothers, anything Kid Kenobe does, same goes for Q45, and others like them. Wolfmother are great although I wanted to not like them. I'm loving Pendulum too, go the Aussie drum and bass. RNB sucks arse and so does anything too poppy, light and fluffy.
  2. Leaning out = not enough fuel = engine go bye bye.
  3. Red paint doesn't age very well though. It's the worst of all the colours but it does depend on what kind of red.
  4. So what times did the bustermobile run?
  5. So is it the door glass or the other little window?
  6. Make him an offer Steve. Repair your reputation.
  7. My answer to all of the abovementioned questions, queries and statements is: No worries.

    Im Bored

    Is this still on?
  9. That's umm Ben I think his name is. I haven't seen him for ages. Didn't get close enough to tell.
  10. mmmmmmmmmmmmm meat!
  11. There is a pattern here. Random person who has barely posted if at all comes on here with a thread stating 11ty bazillion rwkw with no dyno sheet, pics or list of mods done. 25 keyboard warriors hang shit on him. He counters with a few scant more details which contains a comment of a stock part that most people think should be upgraded - eg injectors, rods. The whole forum hangs shit on him for using that stock part saying his motor will blow up any second now. End result: The newbie who has spent many hours and $ on his Skyline thus generating some knowledge tries a few more times but the lines are drawn and he fades away. Possible solution: We can't pre-educate the newbies so we have to expect their behaviour and cater to it. Perhaps in a more pleasant manner. Obviously forum slamming is fun but it doesn't add to the community assets. This community service announcement brought to you by my sanctimonious musings. Have a nice day.
  12. Ahh, that's a fair enough comment and may be true. I don't know anyone with a 2530 and cams but perhaps the higher boost capabilities would make them worthwhile where they are not with a stock turbo due to the boost restrictions imposed by it's fragility. If looking at highflows check out some of the threads on them where we discuss the R34 and VG30 exhaust housings and how they are bigger making a highflow one of those better than a highflowed R33 turbo.
  13. C'mon Troy! A 2530 is heaps different to a standard turbo. Just cos you can find someone with a stock turbo making 200rwkw and someone else with a 2530 making 220rwkw doesn't mean that the second guy wont shit all over the first. We've all seen 2530 powered cars beating much higher peak powered cars.
  14. You're in and I'll hold to that. Thanks. Can you please email me your full name and phone number so we have a record for CAMS. We wont be selling the details Can any of you other flaggies reading this do the same please. Thanks everyone. bob at estc dot net dot au
  15. And I'll take your dirty socks if you don't need them. C'mon guys, he was pretty explicit.
  16. That's right. Just bleed the brakes as per normal. I wouldn't bother going anything over SuperDot4 unless you plan on bleeding them every few months. If changing DOT rating, particularly if changing by a large step - ie Dot 3 to 5 - then a decent flush is recommended. I can usually get it done with 500ml but since you have to buy another 500ml to flush any further you might as well use most of it to give a god flushing. Just jap or UAS sell those mast cylinder stoppers I know but they are a fairly common thing. Not hard to find. Make sure you have at least 50% on your pads and get out there.
  17. Check the RB25 turbo upgrade thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=55845 That said, a 2530 with cams might be nice or for a bit more power a GCG highflow then up to a HKS GT-RS. Tomei Poncams are the easy option for an upgrade in that respect. Proven to work. I went for the 260degree type b.
  18. That's not a car we know is it Mars? I spotted a white R33 with a very dirty bum fanging it up Victoria rd this morning while I waited for my lift to work. Saw it again further down Vic rd just before the Lane Cove Bridge. It's got a really high wing, kind of like an extended series two R33 GTST wing. I think they were a Nismo option.
  19. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=74778&hl= http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=67312&hl= This guy has done it.
  20. My suggestion also.
  21. No helmet hiring.
  22. Ditto to most of the above. You are seriously lucky not to get hurt in that. Just goes to show that you don't have to be young and dumb to have an accident in a high power car. Be careful peoples. Which tyres did you have on Peter? Joy it's an RB20 with some serious power.
  23. rang em. no go. they wanted to come and clean it themselves. And not for free either.
  24. dear oh dear Does that place sell the gear Steve? Or just do the service? I want to do them myself at my office.
