  1. I wanna clean my windows with those pivoting things the pros use. Can't find them at the hardware shop. I got told some industrial suppliers sell them but no idea where to find such places.
  2. Got this earlier: Hi Adam, I have a skid pan morning and afternoon session tomorrow at the creek. We have 3 vacancies at $125.00 for 4 hours on both programs. Can you let the Skyline pilots know? Aaron
  3. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...topic=90158&hl= that's my thread on the matter.
  4. Maybe the brakes are dragging. When did you last bleed the brakes?
  5. Don't knock it. It's my ride to work everyday. As payment I installed a boost gauge that worked for about 2 days. Gotta fix that...
  6. Just thought it would be funny to quote myself. You can run more boost with any of these turbos if you have them fitted to an RB20.
  7. Got any pics?
  8. Why don't you tell us more. We like details.
  9. Wink and you'll miss it.
  10. That's the hose that split on me causing an overboost and blew my engine.
  11. I suggest anyone doing an RB25 rebuild take you up on this offer. Not only do they look the same but I've had someone look up the part numbers for R34 RB26 and R34 RB25DET and the numbers are the same. Also the R33 and R34 RB25DET's both have 9:1 compression ratio which can be a limiting factor in putting lots of boost into them. Bass Junky has about 250rwkw without lowering the compression ratio but he does have cams as do I. There doesn't seem to be many people succesfully putting a lot of boost into a NEO without cams or lowering the CR. I can't think of any offhand. The NEO does have solid lifters as does the RB26 but they are not the same. The NEO exhaust valves are 1mm bigger than the RB26 items. This could help get more power from the same or less boost all other things equal. It seems to me that without lowering the CR the NEO can take about as much boost as a non NEO. Depends how far you want to push it, how good/consistant your fuel is, and how well tuned it is. The power levels are probably similar, perhaps a slight advantage to the NEO. If injectors aren't being changed the NEO ones are 350cc but earlier ones are 370cc. which could be a limiting factor.
  12. Don't bother with the cam gears, they have been shown to not be worth it for NEO's. I guess you mean no need to upgrade the injectors with stock turbo in which case you are correct but the rest is necessary. Injectors come with bigger turbo.
  13. Hmm. I recognise that picture. :)
  14. I just wanted to make you happy daddy.
  15. On an RB25 I wouldn't go over 12psi for the street. I blew mine at 13psi. On an RB20 1 bar seems safe.
  16. Are you going to make us a movie afterwards doodz? When was your last oil change BWA? If not too long ago it might be worth waiting til after the track day.
  17. Unless sindows wants them then you can. I know that car and it is definitely a GTR. It so ludicrously low that it can barely go over a marshmallow without bottoming out.
  18. Spotted a new R34 owner on my way to NBP on friday night. A white R34 with white mags. I think I was driving beside him for a few minutes before I was noticed on Military rd but then fought the traffic together to manly. Then I spotted him again outside Poerplay in Drummoyne on saturday. I hope you looked after him Tosh. EDIT: Turns out it was infokill...
  19. 1. yes 2. My opinion is 12 psi on the street, 10psi on the track. Some say otherwise but that is a fairly middleground answer. 3. No problems. 4. It's not fuel cut, the ECU starts running filthy rich and retards the timing (search for rich+retard for more info). It seems to cut in lower for some people than others but 12psi will put you up close enough to it and that's all you want to ask of your turbo so that will do.
  20. Check your plugs. Gap them to 0.8 and if that doesn't fix it your coils are probably on the way out just like so many R34 coil packs before them.
  21. We'll figure something out. I certainly don't think you should hold off on entering just to keep yourself free for flagging.
