  1. Nice one Moanie. Adrian = boring I wanted to come but I didn't want to jinx you all and bring the rain. I think I'll go again next week. In my dream I went and it rained again so that's a sign I think - it will rain every time I go or say I'm going.

  3. Depends on the gauge used. The important thing is that they are even across all 6 cylinders.
  4. That sounds good ben. Factory coils are probably the issue. 0.8 is where you want to be.

  6. It might not hook up to the inside of the tank properly. I used the original mounting bracket.

  8. I don't know that turbo so I don't know how far you are expecting it to take you but I would suggest you ditch that fuel pump and put something decent in there. Tomei Poncams (type B) are good. I wouldn't port the head but a polish of the combustion chamber would be worthwhile. I would have expected things like water pumps and oil pumps would be replaced as a matter of course. Put a crank collar on for the oil pump drive if going over say 250rwkw. Have you thought about what compression ratio you are going to run?

  19. The secondary power stroke is not going to have the same power as the primary one though so you may have balancing or harmonic issues unless there are a lot of cylinders, like 8 or more.

  21. I spotted GTR26C on Castelreagh street about half an hour ago. Pretty quiet car despite boosting out of the carpark. I was just about to say, it'll go away and it started hammering down. That is E_Lu-SHun's car. He finally got some yin and yan pics of the two of them. Yay. I so did make those pants. I had two pairs that were too small for me so I made one pair out of the two. Just like with a car.

  23. There has been a fair bit written on here about the different pistons available and the information is quite in depth. I went for Wiseco's because they are reasonably priced, they have nice long skirts so they stay square in the bore, the skirts are also teflon coated from the factory to reduce friction and they are able to be used with quite close tolerances which makes for a quiet motor.
  24. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate. Just turn the boost up! My mate's cousin's brother's girlfriend's dog has a cortina running 45psi on low boost setting. Does 4 second quarter miles. Stock turbo too.
  25. V8 don't have turbos that need high velocity gas to turn them though. Anyway, enough about that. WE understand each other. Those runs were done at full throttle. I think there is a tps value in the spreadsheet somewhere??
