  1. You need to read the forums for a few more months and all will be revealed.
  2. It will be 11 March. I'm going to make another official thread sson but haven't got around to it yet. Lee - There are no power to weight advantages on the dyno mate Tommy - you better be there. You too Morgs. Blitz - with new turbo?
  3. $1 an hour. I don't know anyone who gets this but it is lower than $5.50.
  4. You can go wrong without ball bearings. SAU NSW club members get 10% off at GCG. GCG highflow = $1950 10% = $195 cost now = $1755 I'm making 255rwkw at 0.9 bar with cams on an auto. Oh and whoever can get me an HKS 2835ProS for $1750 - I'll take 10.
  5. I've kicked plenty of shit in my time. Where are at Nate?
  6. There's a guy in brisbane who have davies craig 16" thermo for sale for $80. get it. cheap fix.
  7. Jeez, talk about a hot thread. It's an office junior job. Photocopy, fax, take this here, go there and get this, a little bit of phone answering when receptionist is at lunch, scratch my back, a little to the left, get me a drink, fill the dishwasher, go and find one of these and buy it. I was thinking around $23-26k to start with but could go either way depending. Just interested to see what's out there.
  8. I am looking for a switched on well spoken school leaver for a job I've got so I want to know the best place to advertise. I'm a bit out of the loop. SMH, seek, other? What do you think I should pay them for a full time city office job?
  9. You just set the desired boost level then put in say 40% and give it a run to see what it hits. Then you gradually up the duty until it gets there.
  10. $200-300 but they come and go Sometimes there are 2 or 3 for sale at once but I haven't seen one for a couple of months now.
  11. And mine again too. It's certainly not working properly.
  12. If they make an auto category I'm a chance. :D A number of good points made here. Snowy - you have the R34 GTR and you can drive it so you are in for sure. Roy - R32 GTST smells bad - no chance. Just perpetuating the stereotypes.
  13. If you know how to do it, you have the tools, the time and a nice clean area to do it in then I'd say go for it. Why wouldn't you? Even if you were over here and you had all of the above I'de say go for it.
  14. There is a rotary in the current issue of Zoom that was locally built and has both. They have technical drawings and stuff as well to make it easy to understand.
  15. Umm, grassiest front bar? Maybe we'll throw in an r31 section just for you mate. I'm sure I can dig a up a prize for you from somewhere.
  16. Are you saying you are upgrading the standard trans cooler? Why? Mike at MV told me that pretty much any Dexron III will do the job fine. I put in Redline High Temp ATF which helped a bit with sharper shifts but since the box was already on it's way out then it didn't make it last longer. You could try Redline Racing ATF which has no friction modifiers. Apparently the FTO guys swear by it. You could run two coolers in series but just like engine oil, the fluid needs to be at least a certain temp to work properly. Around 80-90 seems normal. They run the fluid through the radiator not just to cool it but to stabalise the temp. I think it might even help warm it up a bit when you start driving from cold. Water, engine oil and trans fluid are all around 80-90 during ordinary operation.
  17. Air con turns off on full trottle anyway and most tracks make you keep your windows up. It does get hot but not unbearable. It's not an issue.
  18. That's the right stuff. Does anyone know what you coat it with to make it a bit shinier and more resistant to scratches?
  19. Fatz - Got Oran Park, Wakefield Park and Eastern Creek almost organised for this year. Bring it on you softy.
  20. Both good locations. Ducts are on my list of things to do too. Alex - can you make that signature pic about 1/2 that size please.
  21. About $1300ish a set.
  22. To quote UAS directly: We check the vehicle out before going on dyno including fluids etc and adjust tyre pressures for accurate reading. Will diagnose and advise on cars performance and anything we discover and at least two runs check boost, torque, power and air fuel ratio with a pic of car dyno print out and if they bring their own floppy disc we can supply digital version. ( If they forget we have floppy and can email it to them). There is a good lunch shop which will be open until at least 12 although can stay open longer pending demand. Our shop will be open also and 10% minimum discount for SAU dyno day. Also our workshop for before and after mods to check on dyno pending demand for workshop and dyno numbers.
  23. I have used house paint before. Came up a treat. Wouldn't do it to a car under 25 years old though. Black shows up dirt and imperfections. Whereabouts are you located?
  24. Mistake made, fixing now.
