  3. It has been shown that the 45v2 and variants has no relation to which model the turbo is from. (eg R33 or R34) The compressor wheel in the R33 series one is steel, series 2 and R34 nylon. The exhaust wheel in all of them is ceramic.

  12. Mmm, but what part of the pump is breaking? In theory the crank should be stuffed around the drive as well as the pump if this issue was the one at fault.

  14. degeko - I can't see the RB20 having these issues so go for it. dave - my oil pump was the same in the sense that it had room for the longer driver on the crank but the crank was a short drive. Perhaps all the oil pumps are like this and the RB26 cranks with the longer drive are just modified due to the discovery of this issue. I can't see that they found this out on the street. Somebody must have been racing the R32 GTR's and found this to be a problem, communicated it back to Nissan who made the change just in case.

  18. Stock boost is 0.5 bar. I have also never heard of 550cc Nismo injectors for the R34. Not that I've done the calculations but I think 480's might be a bit small for 300rwkw too. Are you sure you've got the right GT-RS there discopotato? That doesn't seem right based on what we are seeing on the dynos.

  20. R34 GTT Auto ET 13.582 60' 2.172 MPH 103.93 Fuel optimax probably Tyres Nittos which were slipping because I couldn't warm them up because I am hopeless at doing burnouts. Boost about 13psi Power 228rwkw Pipe from AFM to turbo was sucking closed above 6000rpm.

  22. Well I'll certainly keep you informed. I can see what you are saying. Perhaps mine are not progressive rate springs? The sucky thing is that because I've been driving around in a stock suspension R31 since I blew the engine on 11/9 anything will seem harder. It will probably take a week or 3 to be able to feel the difference between the old setup and this one. Luckily I've got another complete set of king springs sitting there which can go in if these ones turn out bad. It's not too hard now I know what I'm doing and the bolts have been recently cracked making it a bit easier.
  23. People rave because they work and broken old stock coils don't. They are pretty much the only ones apart from Nissan genuine and they are cheaper. I don't know what you get for $250 - maybe 2 second hand coil packs... If you can fix them with the suggestions from that thread then that's great but if not they need replacing.
  24. GTR's use a different kind of GT-RS as there are two types.
