  1. There is a lot of difference between what you have there and low 12's. How much money have you got to spend?
  2. So how tall are you?
  3. I am getting my engine rebuilt as we speak. I have a highflowed R34 turbo like Al's and some Tomei 260 Poncams going in. I have allowed $600 for head reco. What could I get done at this stage? I mean, is there a jump between something you get for $600 and $1700 or are there incremental things to do, like say polishing but not porting?

In car tuition / $110.00 EASTERN CREEK TWIGHLIGHT SKID PAN SESSION - FRIDAY DEC 9 You wanted them so here they are, the first evening session over summer. 5.00 till 9.00 pm. A fantastic way to kick your weekend off. $135.00 per driver. Snacks on the night. Book early as these fill fast! EASTERN CREEK TWIGHLIGHT SKID PAN SESSION - FRIDAY DEC 16 As above but one week later, you can't say we don't give you choice! I know my gf absolutely loved it. It looks like we have some interest here so what say people post up if you are keen and I can organise a day just for us or we can try for a cheaper entry to one of the events posted above. The idea is you are sliding around the wet and lfat concrete skid pan, some of the time trying not to slide and some of the time trying to slide with control. Earlier on you are learning how and when the car slides and later you push it harder to go fast within the limts of traction. I nearly pulled of a 360 once but you can't get enough traction to get fast enough to get all the way round. It's very safe.
  5. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...91771&hl=robert There are some good suggestions of places in that thread.
  6. Got this email from Aaron McGill the other day. Skid pan days are a really great, fun, safe, not hard on your car kind of day. I would recommend anyone who has bought their Skyline in the last year or so and hasn't been to one to give it a go. It's the first thing I did and I learnt so much about the car. Hi drivers, To better serve you guys, our customers, we are constantly trying to bring you exciting new ways to enjoy your motoring. Please read this e-mail carefully and respond to it. We have finalised negotiations with Eastern Creek to hire the Skid Pan from 5 pm until 9.00 pm on Friday nights during daylight saving. Costs are the sticking point, as the venue must hire security, pay the EPA for a noise permit and have an ARDC staff member stay back. The cost to you as drivers would be $139.00 inc GST. We are prepared to book 8 dates over summer as long as you, our customers are wanting such an activity at that price. IT'S YOUR CALL PEOPLE, DEMOCRACY AT WORK!!!! 7. 14 or whatever we are up to. Thou shalt pay attention to the traffic lights and move off when they go green instead of looking in the backseat or staring off into space. Also, 2 is on the money. While the light is red I beep them and give a jerk of the thumb to indicate where they should go. If they still think they are faster than me they will probably be faster than the car next to you giving you a free lane beside them from about the other side of the intersection which is yours to use then fishy past them scaring the crap out of them and hopefully teaching them that cars are better than bikes. This works especially well when you are tuned quite rich and can spit black bits of shit and fumes all over them on your way past. mwahahahahah. disclaimer - I would never do this in real life. I just putter around in stupor paying no attention to the traffic lights.
  8. In plus one.
  9. Have you got a before pic to see the difference? I can't remember exactly what it's like. It's not the same as mine is it? (Aero)
  10. I've seen them stick on and I've seem them fuse together but the latter is permanent. It might just be the ECU though. Mine does a similar thing and it is wired in the stock manner. I didn't notice that it stayed on sometimes until I put a GTR fuel pump in because I couldn't hear it before but now I can. When I say similar... without the engine on it only primes for about 2-3 seconds but it's when it's started that it can go on and on or not depending on it's mood.
  11. Yeah I'm sure you have the N/A one. I think Satanic on these forums was selling his or I might sell mine soon.
  12. There is room. Contact Aaron McGill directly ar [email protected] to book a spot as the SAU organisation part has closed. Just email your details and that you want in on the 27th and would like to pay $220 as you are from the Skyline Club.
  13. Does anyone know how long they last? Mine has been in there for nearly 2 years. Perhaps I should try a K&N one...
  14. I don't know about the apexi ones but I have both a standard nissan one and a Nismo one and they are not the same in flow or look. The difference in both regards is immediately noticeable.
  15. Ok guys, there are some underlying issues with WSID that I can't, for the moment, tell you about. I have no intention of keeping you in the dark any more than necessary. Stay tuned.
  16. That is the TCS that was mentioned.
  17. Meaning the pipes don't use the original holes in your passenger side inner guard. It goes out that way and back from the drivers side.
  18. So there is an adapter for the NEO engine? Would you then need an R34 GTR plenum?
  19. In order: High flowing panel filter for stock airbox like pipercross or Nismo or something. Full exhaust. Boost controller. Fuel pump? PowerFC. Just my opinion. I don't own a GTR.
  20. Thanks very much to sam and your mate for helping today. Thanks also to BLK R33 GTST and your mate too.
  21. I don't see how the TCS is the problem. You can remove it any old time. All that will happen is that your slip and TCS lights will always be on in your dash. The issue is all about fitting of bits like injectors, fuel rail and water lines. If no one is making one now then I guess you have to get something that just goes on the top half of the plenum. (I may be confused but would you call the bottom half of the plenum the inlet manifold and the top half just the plenum?) Maybe that bottom half could be cut about 5cm out from the head and some new thing fabricated for it. Will it work properly though?

  23. How will machining the block sacrifice the squish?
