Last I heard we had about 6-7 spots left but that is not concrete in either direction. We have about 5 people booked and paid for.
So yes you need to be quick to get in but no need to give up yet.
I've just had a crack at organising something at Eastern Creek but no go unfortunately.
They have a drive day the same day we are intending to go to Oran Park which is no good. I asked a couple of people who have bookings around that time but it seems like Porsche and Ferrari owners are too scared to drive with a bunch of Skylines! (Actually they said they always get fully booked so weren't interested in us.)
The Sprite Club are holding a Supersprint day on 26th. Perhaps someone who knows about these things can shed some light on whether this is worth chasing up or not.
I think we have enough interest expressed here to say it's a goer. I'll start a new thread with entry forms and the like shortly.
An engine at 6000 rpm is eating twice as much air as it is at 3000 rpm. That has nothing to do with boost.
Some people, myself included, use the rpm based boost control of the AVC-R to smooth the ramp up of boost to control wheelspin in 1st gear.
Mine is an R34 and is the same. I spoke to a diff specialist about shimming who said something like 'you can pay me to do it if you like but it will only last a short while, get a proper mechanical diff'.
Ok the rpm probably isn't showing because there is one wire that can go to rpm or injector duty. Does it show injector duty?
As for throttle, maybe they missed a wire?
Haha I was wondering how it got to 2 pages before I even saw the thread. Thanks for the recycle Duncan. (And happy birthday for today you old fart!)
Thanks to everyone. I'm going to install a catch can for my birthday present to myself.
I'm now old enough to deny my age!
